I've loved seeing this series. It's really great. Not too much talking. 😀 It's been really good to see the details in progress.

Compliments! Beautiful guitar, well built, perfectly painted and carefully assembled. For my personal tastes, the tortoise pickguard takes away contrast and diminishes the vision of the wonderful paint job, white or parchment would have made the three sunburst colors stand out, but, that's my personal opinion. Standing Ovation

Fantastic. This series was inspiring to watch and I think it's exactly the kind of production that will draw both viewers to the KZbin channel and customers to Crimson Guitars! I would love to see all of the Crimson luthiers each present their own series as they build a guitar, all shot and edited in this style. It would be interesting, educational and inspiring all at once.

While I also enjoy the "research" kinda vibe, this build is exactly the type of content that brought me here, the first time I watched a Crimson Custom Guitar video. I always learn something from you guys, keep them coming!

Oh my days, guys you have captivated me with this build, and i had no idea you were just up the road from me in Dorch..... I can not wait for the next build. strange really as i can not play to save my life, but what you guys have done is inspirational. Thank you thank you for this channel, and i wish you all the success not only with the channel but with the museum and i look forward to visiting you in the future x

It's nice to know Ben can get some things done while others can do a video or 4. And note to the editor, good montage music. 😀👍

I dont know why but the red ground cable from the bridge gives me the ick 😂 Fantastic looking Strat that im sure plays even better than it looks, great build!

I've really tried to love other guitars, but nothing beats a Strat for me. I want to love LPs, humbuckers, shorter scales, etc etc, but something just feels so right for me with an S type. (T type a close second)

I would have loved to see a little more of the original amber left in places around the neck (similar to the very tip of the neck which you did leave, for some reason), but the end result was great anyways. Nice work!

My thoughts on this build series are that if Matt can build a strat on camera, then Ben can build a barebones anti-ADHD bog standard extremely basic Tele on camera as well. I'll keep asking for it until he does it LOL Also, great build.

I'm into it. Not sure about the knot on the back. Really draws the eye.

So many stories here too, like being told I should play “more up to date 60s music”, being asked if any of the guitars on stage were “air guitars”… no cymbal stands on arriving and the roadie driving 140 miles round trip to get them, or having to put 2 Mics in the kick drum of an un-amplified kit, cos the drummer had run the Cardiff 1/2 marathon that afternoon and couldn’t press the pedal hard enough - and it still wasn’t audible!

Or the Fender pro II, or Fender ultra. The vintage house brick is such a weird feature on an otherwise "contoured body".

It's crazy to think that there are companies in this world that can do all that work and deliver the final product to UK stored for less than sixty quid.

I really didn't notice how yellow the finish was in the outros and during the DGD streams. Whether or not Strat sunbursts are that bright I don't know but the pickguard seems to balance it out because the back doesn't look normal to me. Not bad, just looks more Les Paul. I don' know why I've only just noticed either that you're not using a Trem for your first ever Strat. It's not really a Strat, then, is it?
@stu-j6 ай бұрын
Wonderful custom build and a beautiful guitar! Only problem is it's the wrong way round for me and strats are just not my thing.... I'll take a tele all day long...

Neck radius is too flat for a strat and for me I don't like square edge fret overhang, looks nicer rounded. Plus if you're doing a hardtail it begs for the 70's headstock
