1.5x playback everything - thank me later then what’s the point of having any roll cage? I’m only saying it’s low because Chris is trying to justify it based on the car’s center of gravity and trying to justify how safe it will be. If he’s just going to bring it to the next SEMA then it shouldn’t need any roll cage

Why didn’t you build the frame to fit at the bottom of the suspension where the subframe is and then build towers to hold the upper control arms? That would keep the weight of the car lower and improve handling. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a car built with the frame at the top and everything suspended beneath it.

work ethic and skill is amazing. my honest feedback, I would try to keep the subframes the lowest point on the chassis, keep the bottom of the cockpit level with them and I would shorten the wheelbase significantly. i think those two things will actually help make the car much more usable to actually drive. i know you have a ton of cars that you don't need to actually have this be that functional, but it would be cool to actually be able to drive it on a somewhat regular basis. good luck and I'm looking to stayed tuned
@TheRSGarage4 жыл бұрын

You should probably have a bar between the frame rails, that stops the engine from moving forward and crushing you and your seat, during an accident. It could also double as a holder for the seatbelt straps.

What you need is two roll hoops, one somewhere infront of the steering wheels, and one behind the driver, model yourself with a helmet and make sure that if you put a straight line between the hoops you have at least 2 inches of clearance for the helmet. This is how it's done in formula race cars.
