Eclipse proxys are money. Stable enough for any line (hyzer,flat, anny, air stall shots, even forehands for turn or flip up) truly best straight flying throwing putter imo. I put on 3 people with it and they all said the same thing, they love how versatile it is. 🤝 this is peak brod

But also how do you get your beat up putters to late turn like that? I’m more of a forehand dominant player and I can’t even get my oldest most beat up Luna to late turn like that. Any advice for throwing late turn shots like that?

Recently got some Gateway stuff and MAN. Element, Mystic, Prophecy, Warrior. I swear they are some of the best mid ranges in the game. Diamond plastic is REALLY close to Birdie and they come out of the hand so nasty.

I've not had much success with "throwing" putters, but the only 2 that have seemed to work well for me is the Judge and the Zone. I putt with a Rainmaker and that one is actually pretty good for throwing too. I would definitely love to give all of the discs you demonstrated a try.

I’d definitely recommend a proxy. I think it’s the best throwing putter on the market. It will teach you angles really well because it holds whatever line you put it on🤝

If you get a Active Premium Glow Sensei thats another layer of stability fyi, very flat compared to the normal Active Premium. I have 2 domey Sensei (Viking Knife in Armor and a Yikun Phoenix Gui) and they are not near as stable in wind as my flat Knifes in Ground/Storm and thats not as stable as that forementioned Glow Sensei. ;)

I don't play the game, but watch everything I can on it. Can someone please explain to me what the advantages of having a 'beat in' disc are? Is there something that changes over time with regards to the disc performance? I am wondering why the manufacturers would not have made their discs carry these desirable characteristics right from the day of manufacture? Am I missing something? Love your work @Broderic.

I know I'll get a lot of hate for this, but I would highly highly recommend people check out the Doomsday Depth Charge as an approach disc. I bag the floppy "Collapse" plastic and the newer "Ignition" premium plastic, and choose between them basically if I want ground play or not, since they both fly the same. It never fails that I will throw some forehand turnover flick from 150' through the woods and the rest of my card will be like "wtf is that disc and how did you just park it?" It has some pretty S-tier torque resistance, so you can yam on it and it's not going to burn over. Nose down it's very straight/stable, slightly nose-up and you get some wild touch flex lines, and it's so slow that you don't have to worry about it flying past wherever you were throwing it. If you're ok with everyone gawking over your discs whenever you play, put your prejudices aside (it is a unique looking/feeling disc for sure), and give one a try.

I could totally be wrong but aren’t doomsday disc not pdga approved? I know most of them aren’t, maybe some are. Wouldn’t effect some players but I think most people would wanna be bagging something they couldn’t also throw in tournaments

Buy an Opto/Opto-X or such for a Pure to be stable I tvink, my pink Gold Pure were sorta flippy and very flexy, I do think leaving it out in the sun by accident have made it a bit stiffer (and less pink sadly) gonna test my thesis soon! :)

I think I'm going to have to get a proxy. My glow Reko has finally started turning on me. I left it outside a couple days and I think the heat Flippyd it. I've had it 3 years and it's never flipped over on max hyzer untill now. My new glow envy has taken the tee slot from it anyway

@@JoshJackson13 my neutron soft and glow seem to fly very similar but I’ve always heard neutron soft is the straightest. I’d recommend the soft for sure it’s absolutely money 🤝
