It was a great feeling to find your video about the build. My girl friend of 11 yrs passed away Dec. 18th 2021 from Covid and Covid almost got me too but the Lord got me to the right Doctor and my life was saved. We both loved watching your life in Alaska the Last Frontier and since Covid I hadn't been able to find anything until today. I'm thankful for your willingness to share through videos of what is going on in your neck of the woods. Thanks for all your efforts in helping Vet's and letting us see once again the family. Conservation easement is a big red flag for this family!!!!!

There are definite pros and cons for sure. However we all unanimously agree that the pros outweigh the cons. It depends on how the conservation easement is set up and what entity the property owner is working with. In our family situation it reduced property taxes substantially it also made it so It is very hard to sell the property and devalues the property so it makes it less desirable to sell. Keeps the family land intact. So many homesteads across America have been chopped up and sold because when they become inherited they are too expensive for anyone to keep. Plus you always have some family members that would want to cash out. This makes it almost impossible to do those things
