Hey, thanks for the fantastic video. I came accross and issue, maybe you can help me out here. The calculation for the World AVGG (22:45min) is not coming up as SUM when placing it on the Detail. Instead its showing as AGG (%...) Do you have any idea how to fix this? I did the calculation a few times, everything seems right. Thanks so much!

Hey Patrick. Thanks for your comment. If you're talking about the field named "% People Fully Vaccinated Worldwide" then it should show as a SUM() because it is a Level of Detail Expression (LOD) and these are always computed as SUM() by default like any other Measure field. Make sure that you're wrapping your calculation with curly brackets (that's how you make it a Fixed LOD). If you still have issues you can get the Tableau workbook from our Tableau Public account by using the link in the video description. I hope it works!

Hello! Thank you for the video. I successfully build a Dashboard with your instruction. Can you go into more detail about how to update/link the data source to the Dashboard so I can update it daily? I am new to this. Right now my Dashboard is not a tracker yet but only reflect the vaccination info up until today, July 10 2021. Thank you.

Hi P Phan. We're glad our video helped you. To keep the data updated, you will need to create an ETL process to bring the data, on a schedule (daily in this case), from its web source and store it in some location accessible to you Tableau deployment. That falls more in the data engineering side, but we will put together something to demonstrate how to achieve this with freely available tools, so stay tuned!

What about the countries which are gray? Is the data for those countries not available?

It is either that or, most probably, that those countries have less population than the threshold defined in the parameter.
