How about naming the stadium 'Castle Stadium'. Simple, but it would have been where a castle was before overlooking the small village and with the rail line acting as an old moat (which it sort of did for a little bit in this video).

Now that there's canon european history, perhaps an eastern european prefab district using the 4x4 high density towers (and similar assets) on the other side of the train station would be cool and expend on the european history of the county. The amount trams would be historically accurate too, since the networks were kept and even expanded in those parts of the continent. I also think the hospital would fit nicely in there, it has a similar vibe to it. For inspiration on the split old town and new town look I recommend Hoyerswerder in Germany. There the districts are devided by a river, but the train line works nicely I believe.

Very smart move there by FC👍,.. flooding the area just to create a key wall ❤.I never thought about it, that an European old theme neighborhood was great addition for the Olympic Village vibe, since its a good Tourist Spot(old EU Architecture) and can serve's as a hotel🏨 for the Hosting of the olympics🏟 in Fewnilla County❤😃...also your idea about creating another university Campus📚(EU theme) besides the European village🏚 is great. another tourist spot since its close to the Stadium and has good access to transportation,( nice element's and dynamic in the Area). very please to see another CS1 content really enjoying and entertaining.

I’ve had a very busy summer, so fell way behind in watching episodes. Almost caught up now. Very exciting to see networks being built, for future developments and areas. For some of the areas that need filling in, here’s a couple residential ideas: 1. There is a 3x3 high density residential building, lvl 1, it’s only 3 stories tall, and it has almost a New England vibe to it. It comes in four different bright colours. If you did a repeated pattern of these specific buildings, it could look like a nice medium density neighbourhood. There’s also a 2x3 low density residential house that has a very similar style (bay windows, horizontal siding). You could combine these with the hide density buildings to look like a planned development. 2. There is a 1x2 low density residential building that looks like a townhouse. If you zone them in one at a time, you can make blocks of 3 or 4+, and they look like a townhouse development. Works well with a little park in the middle. 3. I don’t think you’ve used the wall-to-wall residential buildings in this build. If you leave a little bit of space between each block that you zone in, you can make some cool looking neighbourhoods that have lots of pops of colour. The wall-to-wall buildings might look great in that Olympic Village.

It would be interesting to see a more gradual transition out of this oldtown style and into the more more buildings, almost like the old buildings further from the more important historical bits (like the cathedral) have less protection from modernisation! I'm really loving that raised stadium!

Love the views from Old Town to the city center skyscrapers. I actually quite like the illuminated billboards here -I think that it makes it seem like a nightlife district. Love how everything fits together with the castle stadium, transport hubs.

Yay!! A new episode. I was thinking maybe you were going to put this series on the shelf! So glad I was wrong! I love your vanilla builds. This may be an unpopular opinion but I wouldnt be opposed to installing BOB for straight detailing purposes esp in areas that need things removed. A perfect example is this build. I'm sure an area like old Town would not have all that neon. Just a thougnt... 🍻

I love this build. The stadium you chose worked really well combined with the layers and steps around it. Also liked the European area aswell, I personally love those assets and they work pretty well wherever they are zoned. Nice placement of the cathedral aswell. I think green cities towers might work well for the Olympic Village with some tactical application of the local produce buildings, like the Healthy Weeds store.

@@GoofKZbin that’s kind of what the beginners guide series is that im doing at the moment. Essentially it’s a let’s play but I try to explain everything I do and how to do it as I go so there’s a tutorial side to it but I do have more experienced players watching who seem to enjoy the series! We also have Anima Zoo on the go, so it’s unlikely I’d start another zoo series soon, but I love that game yes! Will definitely be playing planet coaster 2 when that drops…

The plaza outside the new train station is really nice and I think the neon lights are alright - especially considering they add to the pop of colour the houses provide to this area. Also a lot of small detailable spaces generated with the non-uniform road layout, which fits the european vibe quite a bit.

A plus to the European theme is that because it all looks very similar you can really mix the uses without a real visual impact. It also creates busy places as you have people coming for all the uses ☺️
@Nikolaj112 ай бұрын
Love the additions generally, I have a few thoughts to some of the detailing though: 1. I think you used perhaps just a few too many large trees in those courtyards. People can be rapid about their light and I imagine quite a few of those occupants with rooms facing into the courtyards would dislike having large canopies blocking out the sun. 2. That little garden triangle by the parisian storefront, the unique next to the cathedral, I don't think that little green space would be accepted to be basically just wild. It would either be a more formal park space or it would be used by one of the nearby businesses for outside café space. As it is it'd be seen as a space the homeless and the druggies would occupy because there is cover there. 3. I feel the green bands in between the new European area and the others makes it look a little bit artificial. Like it's been plopped down in Las Vegas or Disney land. Usually European cities of those densities are limited by geographical features, so I think it migt benefit the look if you made those spaces into a canal, make the border a water feature.

Nice old neighborhood on the outskirts of town. I think it compliments the old industrial district on the other side of the railroad terminal. Two sides of the historic district of Fewnilla. I like using the European buildings, not only for an older section of a city but also because they're a nice medium-density height which CS1 lacks. I agree that the advertising is a bit much; it seems to me like when the buildings level up they only add more signs. I try to mark them historical at level 1 to keep the signage to a minimum.

I'm from Europe and in my city we have lots of tram routes. And how it's done here is, you dont want to end to many lines in the same spot. Because you get to much traffic in one point. We have streets that have 4 tram routes running thru them. But the end stops are all at different ends of the city. At one major plaza they run all together. So you have basically a big star. So you wanna cross the lines so you can get in all directions. If you know what i mean
