Hi Joe, if I could contribute to content ideas, then challenges seem to work best for attention. Put yourself in a sticky survival situation, limited tools, limited time, build tools from nothing, limited resources, navigate from point A to B, build a raft etc. For example Smooth gefixt channel had some crazy ones few years ago where they would jump through the ice in the middle of winter and then had to start a fire with just a knife, that was enthralling. Maybe it is just me, but I love the survivalism part of it and it also serves awesome educational purpose. If, of course, you feel it's your thing.

Yeah you never know what channel the KZbin gods are going to smile down upon from year to year but Joe has shown he has staying power. I will continue to watch as long as he's on KZbin. Joe has a beautiful family to support so I always let the ads on his videos run through (except I plug my ears during GoogleFi commercials) and buy at least a couple pieces of his merch a year. Support good content creators!

Tripper and Beauty were both bred to be exactly as they are; you can't fault Tripper for his dna. And, you treat them differently, your tone of voice is different with them; you sat and gave Beauty pets while she was licking your pan, had it been Tripper, you'd have admonished him with your angry dad voice. But, Tripper is very attentive to you, he's always watching you, where you are, what you are doing, and in his own bizzaro way, he tries to help you. They are both good dogs, just uniquely themselves. As for what kind of videos you make, it's echoed throughout the comment section; do what makes you happy, and we're happy to watch whatever videos you release. You've been doing this a really long time; you do it when you're tired, when you're stressed about family stuff, when you're really ill.... you're out there, giving us your best. You deserve to enjoy yourself, to be excited, to have fun. Thank you, for all you do. And, Thanks to Wil, for being your Life Support.

I first came to you because of your bushcraft videos. I wasn't that keen about the canoe videos at first but as I watched more of them I learned they had value as well and I've come to enjoy the canoeing content as I do much of the other content you provide. One thing for sure your content is never stale or one of those new trip/different day repetitive videos that many other channels provide. On some of the channels they follow the exact same script for every single outing they go on. Short walking view in, set up tent or build shelter, eat, bed, breakfast and then gone. Every single trip you allow us to follow along with you on is different. You have variety and not just in your variety of trips or camps but variety within each and every video of the content you provide. Do what you love, that is why you are doing this and it allows you to provide for you and your family.

I miss Scout, he was a good dog. It's been amazing to watch you and your family grow. Personally I come for the shelter videos. I digg the fort. Thats pretty cool. But, I've learned so much from your channel over the years, and I want to say thank you! Oh, to switch it up a bit, maybe get back into instructional type content. Show how you make the Canadian jam knot, proper fire procedure, etc etc. I always enjoyed that content from you more than anything aside from the various shelter videos. I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas. God bless, and thank you for the content!

I love the variety - your videos are an interesting and peaceful interlude in any season. (My favorite are still the canoe trips - extra peaceful!! lol)

Joe, you know the center of that log was a weak spot. You should either tie it up to the back log, or put a small log upright to support it so that the weight will be more evenly distributed.

Your canoe camping trips are my favorite. The scenery, and being out in the elements is amazing. I do my best to watch every video you release, and enjoy all the content you put out for the most part. You live in a beautiful area, and I am happy that you can make a living doing what you love. All of the best to you and your family Joe.

Most people like to watch things they themselves can replicate to some degree I believe, and I think alot of people dont have access to large expanses of water.. so although it is fantastic content, all of your content is sweet, I think some people maybe have got a bit bored not being able to go on canoe trips aswell.. especially throughout lockdown.. keep doing what you're doing dude, we all love all aspects of your content, no matter what it is you choose to do in that episode👌

I agree partly. I think the canoe trips are great and it's been year's since I was able to go. I think a little too much fishing on the trips may be a problem for some. I like the fishing but not overboard with it. And fishing for food is great!! And fishing along the way but going out to just fish. I mean if you have seen one caught fish you have seen them all, *for the most part.* Anyways I still love the canoe trips!!!

Love all of your videos! I'm up for seeing more canoe adventures, along with any other adventures you choose to share! I accidentally came across one of your videos a few years ago, and I've been hooked ever since! I now follow you and Doug, and haven't seen any others that interest me enough to watch. Keep being you! Love it!

Joe: Tripper! No digging! Also Joe: proceeds to digging. Great vid Joe! Your videos are a must watch for me. EDIT after I got to the end: Keep it up bro. It's a tough balance of pleasing your viewers and pleasing yourself but all those viewers lose out if you stop enjoying this so do what makes you happy. Hopefully that will please some of the folks.

Thank you for sharing your trip to the wonderful fort. I love your camping, canoeing, family trips and exploring other peoples camp and log cabin sites. I just don’t get tired of any of it. You are still the #1 camping site I watch. I hope your family had an wonderful Thanksgiving! Fran

Joe as far as I'm concerned you are the top guy in the camping genre, it's always fun watching your different adventures you put out I am here to stay, just a question why don't you take a rake out to the fort with you and just leave it there would help alot in leveling things out, hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving and never change what you are doing
