Hi 👋, Brian . I think that you have already made this before, about a year ago, it looks Japanese in style, as I have made something similar, a long time ago, Are used to like making things out of ash and ebony. It is a great contrast, It was great to see you using your planner correctly , as you quite often see people pushing the wood over the cutter block area where I have known for the wood to kick back, and Johan disappears down and the block, I have first met somebody that done this back in 1977/8, I still have most of my tools and equipment, my planner and thickness separates are made by SCM . Thanks man, I do have some more videos on their way. I have pulled back from KZbin a bit. After 8 or so years of time invested and not realizing my goals, I have decided to dedicate more of my time to other projects off KZbin. I still plan on posting, just at a more leisurely pace.

How many hours does it take to build these segmented shelves? Just thinking about each half lap has me thinking this takes a long time to build. I'm sure you can do all this way faster than me, but there still has to be a lot of back forth on the fitment of each curved half lap. This seems like something that non-woodworkers wouldn't understand the effort it takes for it all.
