Your unselfish sharing is a mark of a true teacher.|Never threatened by sharing your skill with others. Wonderful. I began watching your videos to gain an understanding of what it takes to build an electric guitar, but you surpassed that with your beautiful photography and presentation. I've spent hours engrossed in your process... but I appreciate that it's taken you infinitely more to come up with your videos. I hope that you get loads of commissions and a TV-deal... good luck to you, you deserve it.

Prompted by your new post, as I’m sure many others have done I have re-watched all of your YT videos back-to-back. What a treat to be able to do this! The tools may have been added to and the technology updated, but the quality of the info, and no doubt the guitars, is still fantastic. This Corvette shape is beautiful, by the way, and I hope whoever bought the Deluxe still treasures it.

I have been doing woodwork for over 30 years and have handcrafted numerous items of furniture, kitchens, cupboards and the like, both for my own use and professionally. I have to say that I am extremely jealous of your workshop and would gladly donate body parts for even half of the machinery you have at your disposal :) Just a little curious what Mrs Fletcher has to say when she finds half the bowls missing out of the kitchen... lol Okay jokes aside, it is apparent to see that you are not only a true artist in what you do, but the passion and attention you show towards your work has been very humbling and an inspiration to me to up my game. Thank you for that, I am truly grateful

Wow David, just...Wow. You make such superb craftsmanship look like a casual walkabout. Those are the coolest Juniors I've ever seen. Really love the styling cues on the horns, perfect blend of traditional/George Jetson factor, as well as the fact that all the frets are accessible without bumping into the cutaway inset, just beautiful! Thank you for sharing this.

I have sat and watched both the Stratocster and Les Paul Jr. series and I must say well done!!! I noticed that you have a lot of nice woodworking equipment yet you still use a lot of manual tools and the ole mighty touch of the hand to do certain operations, which make your videos very useful to those of us with limited access to some of the higher dollar equipment. I have a wood working shop close to home, so I can take my wood and have them do the jointing and thicknessing which is all that you do that I can't on my own, as I now have access to a table, hand held and dremel router, as well as a band saw, so yeah all those little template tips and tricks you have shown me are great!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!! I have been re-working guitars for a bit, or just ordering second hand parts and pieces off the web to do my builds but you have inspired me to try to create my own guitars, at least as far as the woodworking part goes, with the money I save doing that, I can spend more money on more premium hardware and electronics. When I do get my first completely custom build moving I will record some video and let you see how it goes!!! By the way I have a picture slideshow video on here called the Ratstrat build/80's style Stratocaster, it was built from a bunch of second hand parts and new hardware and electronics, and I did all the finish in my driveway and dinning room!!! Keep the videos coming, CHEERS MATE!!!

@Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars - I've just recently discovered your videos here on KZbin. I have to say I thoroughly enjoy watching an uncompromising craftsman build something he can be proud of. There are many guitar builders on KZbin but, for the most part, each of them has found ways to take shortcuts to speed through their builds never quite turning out the way they should. You seem to have no problem using the right tools and putting in the time necessary to get the best results. Great Work! I hope to see some new videos soon.

Wonderful build videos and incredible attention to detail. I've always wondered why most guitar builders don't angle the pickup routes in alignment with the string angle and was pleased to see you do exactly that. I always use a shim to get the bridge pickup parallel to the strings but your method is much better. You make this incredible work look like a walk in the park and I find your videos and comments extremely informative and even somewhat therapeutic, the combination of no rush but high efficiency is beautiful to see and a testament of your abilities which are a mix of excellent craftsmanship and art.

David, Thank you for posting these inspiring videos. The guitars are beautiful and the videos were very well produced. I watched the Strat build videos in one sitting until 0130 this morning and came back for more. One of the most important things I picked up on by watching your builds is the sequence of the steps. I tend to try to jump ahead and "why not go ahead and sand this"... next thing I know I have lost my centerline for example. I hopefully will have the time to give it a whirl but until then I will enjoy your videos. Thank you again for sharing. You have an amazing talent. Be well! Scott

I have been loving your videos, good sir! I appreciate your attention to detail. It is a level of patience a commitment that I do not have.
