Building a House from Trees SE 8 EP 8 Sheetrocked! Quick Update

The sheetrock is all hung and it feels a lot closer to a house now. It is really nice being in there on these cold November days. Its so bright!

Wow, adds such deminsion to the house. You are seeing your vision. That had to be quite a bit of dry wall. I bet they had fun with all those cuts.. Looks like they did a great job. Should mud out very well...... Congradulations ! 👍 Indy

All of the weeks/months/years of work you've put into the details of house are gorgeously framed. It looks stunning. Just perfect 😍 If you like the softer/sound deadening aspects of the raw insulation in your tinkering nook, I wonder if something like thick architectural felted wool tiles over your ply walls would be a good fit? You could easily pop a row off/trim down to install anything mounted to the walls, the colors/texture are going to be very in line with the other materials in the house, and you are literally wrapping your puttering corner in a heavy blanket of comfort.

I think it was always about there. i moved it ages ago over towards the door a bit. There is no cellar below the wood stove.
