Hi. I enjoy your builds. Recommendations from a old guy to save your back... Don't cut a tree or bush low then try to remove it. Throw a chain around it high and soak the root area. It will usually pull over easy. Sometimes a few roots need to be cut. For the big boulders, set them on a couple of one inch pipes and they will slide. Use a couple of blocks and prybars to lift an end and a they can be pulled out. Throw a ball mount on one of the forks...a tow strap works good to pull and adjust them. If you don't have a skid steer, a pickup works. Chain a 4x4 to the ball mount or bumper when you don't have a fork to push with. Good luck.

great tips! We certainly learned a lot on this one, by the end we had some pretty good techniques that weren't as hard on us...next time though I think we'll get an excavator to place them!

Lol, I thought Anthony was either going to reach out and touch you, OR he was looking for something to throw 😂😂😂 we've all been there. Mistakes are sometimes just a part of the learning curve. It IS definitely looking beautiful.

hahah I wasnt sure either...But unfortunately mistakes happen, and its usually a stupid little mistake like we did here, putting our radius point in the wrong spot

What is the rise and run on the stairs? Wondering how you got the skirting to line up with the rise on the stairs and how you made it not feel awkward to walk down. Looks great!

Love the video! Was looking to do my deck skirting the same way and you gave me the tools I needed to be able to frame it for the composite boards! I have a question about the area under the skirting- do you take that down to the ground or leave the large gaps at the bottom? Thank you!

In truth, it was forced labor - levee as the French called it. Today governments do the same but without the labor - we call it taxes. We work for four to five months to pay the gov't with money, but Egyptians physically labored for about the same amount of time. The more things change...@@BigLousWorkshop

It’s a great design however did u ever wonder why the I RC has step minimums ? And those steps will move over time with shims ? If u can do that w/ o getting red tagged on the steps you must be in another country? 7 3/8”-7 1/2” & 10” min step ? So with decks it’s do what u feel is ok ? How did that pass?
@THEpremieroutdoor
@THEpremieroutdoor Жыл бұрын
The code states that 4” is the minimum
