I’ve done much the same with my ‘98 zj, it’s a pretty rewarding process because they respond so well to repairs and proper maintenance. Nice video.

Hell yah bro sweet video, I recently bought an 2001 Cherokee XJ with 250k. I've been following the order you pretty much have laid out, I need to do tranny oil next. Just did a coolant flush, you should make a video talking about the order of restoration on an older XJ with high mileage! I'd appreciate it man
@KCars2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I don’t think I’d change much for what i’d do to an older Jeep with higher mileage.

I wish I could buy a sexy blue 2001 XJ with only 103k miles on it in my area for $4,000. Anything that price is going to be a parts car or a "needs repairs" at best. I just had to settle for a 2000 XJ Sport with 185k for $6,500, which was $500 under asking price. But it's what I wanted when I wanted it...
@KCars Жыл бұрын
I got super lucky with this one and I think the previous owners didn’t realize the true value and I also bought it right before the prices went crazy back in 2020. At least you got one though, enjoy it!

Do you remember where you bought the new moldings for the sides of the XJ? The matte black plastic trim pieces? Would appreciate it. Thanks.

What's the size of the tires? They rub? Your XJ and mine are practically twins.

31x10.50 we had to trim the end caps a little bit in the front and they still rub the mud flaps a little when turning
