l used a Jim Crow before !! Bit bigger than that though !! Or watched the process as l was part of the team !! In Kent in the 90s !

Why didn't you put in a permanent point/switch from the nearest rail

We have plans to rearrange things in that area to iron out a sharp curve and add some extra sidings, so this was just a quick solution in order to be able to use the stock shed straight away. The longer term plan is still evolving.

Rosie Jane Bongers has a similar thing called a climber, which enables portable tracks to connect to permanent tracks.
