Amazing as always! Can't wait to see it totally finished. Also, I'm not much for podcasts, but I'll give the hardworking happy hour a shot. I'm guessing it's LOCKED IN FOR JUSTICE!
@THEpremieroutdoor5 ай бұрын
I’d be especially interested to see what you think since you aren’t usually a podcast person! Of course it’s locked in for justice 💪😂

I love this build. All of your builds are the inspiration for my deck and porch rebuilds happening soon.

I didn’t think I would like the modern cable railing for a deck but you convinced me. Of course, I’ll always like the black/brown railings with brown decking but I don’t totally hate the cable railing in white. Very sleek looking. Also, I’m not afraid of tight spaces & such but you under the deck caused me to sweat a little. That said, I would loved to have had a Go Pro on your face. LOL!!! That was some serious army crawling going on there. I love the videos. Keep up the good work.

Appreciate the stair railing tip. I’m about to install some and would’ve had a time trying to get the angle right.

How far apart is the spacing on your skirting supports? Are you doing 12” on center or can you space that further apart since you aren’t standing on it?

That’s the electrician job to make the holes and cable would leave that up to them
@robc90435 ай бұрын
Nothing to protect the cable going into the post holes on the stairs? that seems like it could be better

I’ve had the hole saw bit fall out of the drill so many times, I had an incredible amount of anxiety when he was holding the drill up on the ladder with the bit pointing down at the camera and the deck haha
@THEpremieroutdoor5 ай бұрын
Hahah that’s definitely happened to me before too…probably should be more careful 😂

@@THEpremieroutdoor it was soooo scary I almost fell off the toilet. I’ll definitely check out the podcast, I didn’t realize you had one. You guys should get on the Modern Craftsman.

I gotta hit them up to try to get on there, ive been listening to that for a long time, and tyler lives like 10 minutes from me!

I’m using this system on my current project and I think it’s a great system but I’d be apprehensive to buy it again because the packaging is too thin for the parts so whoever is shipping this stuff is destroying the boxes and the parts are either damaged or the hardware fell out along the way. DECKORATORS! You need thicker cardboard for your packaging!

You gotta love the comment section people who probably have built nothing and can’t even change their own oil who know more than the successful business owner who has been doing construction for years 😂.Or the boomer construction guy who still thinks it’s 1975 and doesn’t realize everything is done correctly now and more efficiently than the 70s.

Just my opinion, but I do not like the look of the cable and the exposed hardware just looks cheap But you guys do impeccable work it’s just the system

They get sleek looking caps once we do the final tension on them!
