The strength you have to lift and hold those posts, especially that red oak one, is really impressive… I’ve watched you build so many of these buildings and doing it by yourself always scares the bajeezees out of me… it impresses me more than anything but scares me just as much… please please be careful my friend… you really me so much of my dad and my grandpa… both strong, independent men than would build something from scratch like you do… my grandpa was also a blacksmith in addition to being a farmer… if he didn't have a tool he needed, he just didn’t go buy it, he went into the machine shed and he made it! I learned so much watching him at that old coal forge and anvil… thanks for bringing back some happy memories… take care :)

Olive made sure you were getting it done correctly until she wanted to play! Those milled wood posts are pretty darn special because of the different types of wood you milled. I love the oak! It’s going to be great to see this project come to life because of how it was designed and built!

Funny enough, the shorter oak post was heavier than the taller maple post. That was a red oak too so it’s very nice actually.

Good for you, Chad you earn a lot of respect and admiration from us that watch you go to the length you go to develop your little farm and take such good care of your animals. And I love Bubbles. How is she doing? Is she getting friendlier with you. You have to work very hard at loving her because she got off to such a bad start with you. God bless you keep up the good work. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
