I haven't even started watching the episode yet, but this is the sort of content I think is really interesting for KSP. It's a challenge that has a bit of realism to it, requires some tight decisions to be made, but doesn't come with annoyingly harsh limitations. Looking forward to watching!

Here is an idea for a challenge. That can all so be cut in parts if nessesary. 1st launch is easy. Smallest rocket you can land on mun. 2nd launch. Land on the mun again, but the previeus rocket is now your payload(incl fuel). 3rd is a launch again but the 2nd is now your payload. And this keeps going until either ksp craches or kraken attack. See how many launches can you do.

Still finding it hard to normalize in that is 2022 already when my head is still stuck somewhere between 2019-2020. Anyways, that last bit about a Gilly structure would be insanely fun to see. How cool would it be to do such a thing as that in real life though, basically always floating in place nearly with such little gravity. I hope you do that one 🤞

I used a mun base in my career mode first as a contract, then used it to mine, then I built a reusable science lander and used the base to refuel it. Managed to get ALL science capable from the mun without a processing lab. Now sending all my science to a processing lab on minmus and completed tech tree before reaching jool. So I wouldn’t say bases are useless, they save money in career mode for refuels and when time is money for contracts you don’t have to wait for an asteroid to swing by.
