Stations do have some use: using a lander with a fuel factory, you can store fuel in the station, meaning that SSTOs can be refuelled limitless times, and in turn will be able to transport kerbals, ship ore to other stations, maybe even customize modular stations and even refuel craft stranded on the surface of any planet.

Station Ore mining vessel that goes from planet to station, bringing a shitload of ore. Ore gets processed on-station fuel perhaps fuel batteries as an alternative, and ore processors on the vessel, so it can emergency recharge. no clue. ez pz fuelz

But that has been done already (Operation Chariot AKA the St Nazaire Raid). In a very costly but successful raid, they rammed the old destroyer HMS Campbeltown into the gates of the Normandie Dock (the only dry dock on the Atlantic capable to take ships like Bismark and Tirpitz). While the impact did little damage, tons of well-hidden explosives in the bow of the destroyer took the dock out for the rest of the war when the delay time fuse went off.

A company started using the music in one of their ads (marks and Spencers I think) because its open source they probably though they could get away with it but then $ony saw they could make some money and made a bogus claim that it was theirs and not open source. KZbin rolled over and didn't challenge them on it and instead screwed over tons of KZbin content creators which allowed Sony to make even more money. KZbin knows they're in the wrong so they decided to allow him to re upload the videos without the music in the same place as the originals. KZbin didn't help anyone and are bearly trying to cover their tracks
@MrFlyingSquirl
@MrFlyingSquirl 5 жыл бұрын
Plus KZbin, Sony and the song creator all stand to make a fair amount of money from saying its not open source so anyone who can stand up to them properly has no interest in doing so. I think the original song creator has just been ignoring anyone who's tried to contact them in relation to getting confirmation that it was originally open source, which it absolutely was

You should build a deep-space colony...basically a huge station with all the facilities to sustain Kerbal life. You could either do it in multiple launches, do a one-launch, or assemble it in orbit. Once its assembled and in orbit, you'd fire the engines for a Kerbin escape- and then fly really far away from the Sun and make a distant orbit.
@wyldcat9396
@wyldcat9396 5 жыл бұрын
Or a really low kerbol orbit
@isaacvincent8443
@isaacvincent8443 4 жыл бұрын
I think I've figured out why Kerbin is almost entirely uninhabited. Most of the Kerbals live underground. If only because that they have VERY good reasons for fearing that the sky will fall on them. Sky, fuel tanks, deorbited satellites, space stations, even Kerbalnauts attempting to re-enter Kerbals atmosphere. Space exploration is so important to the Kerbals that they chose to move the entire population underground, rather than force their Space agency to worry about what kind of damage say a nuclear powered reactor crashing into some inhabited areas. Not that the Kerbalnauts would worry about such unimportant civilian casualties in the first place, not when there is tasty science to uncover. It's also why they have a nearly unlimited budget. After all, once they have discovered all of the science and have used it to start colonizing the Kerbal system, they can move back to the surface.

Matt, build a "Space Station" in multiple parts, then take it apart and land all the parts on Duna to make it a "Colony Station". I think that would be great. Bonus Legendary Level... Put wheels on all the parts and connect them all with docking ports once on the surface of Duna! TaDa! Thanks bro! (HAHAHAHAHA.... Update: Just watched the NEXT VIDEO! Although, you did the assembly in space, which is much easier than driving all the parts together, but you actually did exactly what I was talking about above!)

When you speak of "The Kraken," are you referring to the bug where complex designs spontaneously begin to vibrate, and ultimately shake themselves apart? I haven't played in a while, but I believe I found a solution for that years ago. It was especially likely after two vehicles are docked. It seemed to be a conflict between two controlling parts. To avoid it, simply right click on any part with the option "control from here." It doesnt matter which. Choose that option, and problem solved. I use autostrut all the time. I've never had that problem since. Good luck.

Space stations can actually serve several purposes in KSP, from orbital processing to fuel tanking to mass transit in the case of motherships.

In sandbox KSP, I was making a "Munar Space Station" (Work in progress), I only have 2 launches, it's just a tiny space station with about 3-5 exposed docking ports, well, I did the "Lowne Lazy Method of Docking" when docking, and... IT WORKED... B-E-A-UTIFULY
