How would you attempt the top without a cnc? The only idea I have is either somehow attempt it on the table saw and rotate the top with a low enough angle of the blade or what makes the most sense to first remove the bulk of the circle with a mortising bit and then on the edge use a round nose bit? I’d love to see you attempt it without a cnc just because I love the design, the look of it
@BevelishCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hey I would probably clamp a circular template on top and use a router and a bowl bit to do this. First use a forstner bit or something to remove most of the material first. It’ll take a long time and a lot of mess 😂 but it would be interesting to try

Love your work and your channel; I know that you have used SketchUp, Fusion, and Shaper3D…just curious if you have a favorite or if you use each of the programs for different things and, if so, what are your distinction points. I’m just diving into the maker software world and trying to get a sense for which program or programs I should learn. Just heard about another one…Make by Me…any experience with that one? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
@BevelishCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hey I mainly use Shapr3D and fusion now. Shapr3D for design, and Fusion 360 for CAM work. I haven’t heard of Make By Me though

Would have been nice if you made the top by hand and not use a robot to do the work.
@BevelishCreations Жыл бұрын
Unnecessary work
@truth-ox3wz Жыл бұрын
@@BevelishCreations Oh, I think you meant to say the work was to hard to do by hand, so I use a robot do it.
@BevelishCreations Жыл бұрын
Because I can just think it and the robot will do it lol. I’ve made smaller things like this in my past videos without a CNC because it’s not much waste to make templates. But to use a half sheet of MDF just to cut this circle is pretty silly and doesn’t doesn’t make any sense when I have a CNC. It’s a waste of time and materials to make a template first out of some MDF just to cut this. There’s more know-how required to program a CNC to cut this than it does to make a silly circular template
