Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who just stands and zones out staring at stuff trying to think through all the possibilities and options

Haha I'm glad you like it! and big thanks for the continued support really appreciate it! Yea I've set myself to the goal of making one video per week and it turns out that this is a great method for Anti procrastination, it makes you do all the projects that usually you'd usually sit on for a while, and I enjoy it a lot of course :)

@@FlatLanderTech so true. In your case it’s even beneficial to make more videos, because more projects get finished indeed! I started off making weekly videos too, but noticed that I can’t keep up with it forever. So now I try to tell myself more that I should worry less about the algorithm. We’ll see if that turns out being a good decision, haha.

Totally understandable indeed! and quality is also more important so Its always really respectable when creators take it a little slower I think it will become the norm pretty soon, seeing a lot of creators striving for a little looser upload schedule in favour of quality or better wellbeing and that's awesome! Its also really intriguing to see the algorithm at work, I have some other channels where I test things and it turns out it very much dislikes scheduled content ( at least in my case ), it will recommend a video if it has just been uploaded but if its been sitting on their server for a while its almost Asif it just forgets about it, and sometimes uploading a little bit too late ( Asif your about to leave ) gives it a massive boost, its like an overly attached partner with narcissistic tendencies XD but this is mostly related to short form content I haven't really figured out how long form stuff works to be honest, total mystery. In the end though I think what's most important is just making what you like making, so I think you made a good choice :)

What software are using to design this on your iPad! Incredible videos, enjoying your content so far. It’s crazy too because I was just thinking about creating one of these for my house. Glad to watch your process to inspire mine.

The concept is excellent, though there is some concern about the equipment's weight affecting the frame over time.

Indeed especially as its not using glue or supports at the bottum yet but if this works out ill be sure to improve its structural integrity. Im glad you like the concept! :)

I love the whole voice-over + b-roll storytelling. How much time do you spend messing about with cameras and lighting per b-roll shot? I do LOTS of DIY, and I have tried to film some of it, but I always end up missing shots because I am just in the grove of building stuff.

Ooo this happens so often to me aswel! i start building and im like wait a minute, i need to film this haha. i actually dont spend a lot of time per shot, about 20 seconds setup time for stationary, about 1 minute for a slide, the lighting remains the same for a lot of the Broll, but this is mostly because i have a really usefull pistol grip system thats very quick and easy to set up, ( update video coming soon on that ). the talking headshot does take some time about half an hour to dial in but hoping to upgrade that a little bit soon aswel.

Hornbach as a liminal space. Hehe. I like that. Most of all, you'll be able to walk 45 minutes in there without seeing a single soul working there.
