Subscribed! I love it. Will be awaiting updates eagerly. I’m a Honda guy and love the CRX! My personal project is planned to be a Civic engine and subframe mounted beneath the bed of my 1988 Ford Ranger. Seeing your videos makes me consider this route. I have a parts Subaru on hand with everything except the engine.

Damn I need to get back out to the garage. I watched through your whole build and took it as inspiration towards my own CRX. I did the whole frame and mounting for electric CRX mid-"engine" in January. All I have left is to mount the 2nd half of the battery and then redo the wiring harness too lol.

@@Enginuity lol that's exactly what's happened to me. 2008 I got the CRX free not running. Rebuilt the motor that winter and got it back on the street. 2014 swapped it to a D15z1 motor aimed for fuel economy. It wasn't as good as I hoped so I started thinking about electric. 2021 I swapped in a Leaf motor and went full electric. 2022 I swapped in 40kwh batteries.. but it's fwd and traction isn't great at 50:50 weight ratio.. 2024 January I made it mid"engine". I'm building a battery box today hopefully it'll be running this month.

Great work. Love this project Your welder is clearly on the wrong settings, those sounds are not normal, excessive penetration. 🤣🤣
