Beauty, almost perfect. The two different blues on the front would drive me bananas, id have to find a replacement seconds hand to match the blue of the dial text.

Does this case have the YM bidirectional bezel or is it unidirectional like most watches?

Nice video ! Do you always have to use 28.5 dials? regardless of the case size? Will 28.5 dial be perfect for both 36mm watch and ig 40mm?

It really depends on the case your using, but most of the date just style cases will use the same 28.5mm dial regardless of it being 36 or 40mm

That is the exact dial I ordered. If it says "S logo" or "with logo" it should come with the seiko logo on the dial

I built a watch nearly identical to yours except the dial was darker gray in color and I didn’t use a blue colored seconds hand. I purchased my dial from a different seller though. Yours looks amazing and I may have to build one like it😊 I checked the link you provided for the dial. I’ve ordered from that seller, in the past, on AliX and will never give them money again. I ordered four dial/hand combinations and two of the dials arrived damaged. They were damaged due to improper packaging so I sent photos to the seller. They were shipped together in the same container with only a thin layer of tissue paper between them. The dials rubbed together during transit and arrived with scratch marks visible to the naked eye and, were beyond repair. They argued with me and said I damaged them during installation although I took the pics right after removing them from the packaging and examined them. I argued back and forth with them for about two weeks and got AliX involved also. They were no help either so I wrote off the dials and refuse to purchase from them again. If any of you watching this video wants to purchase a dial from the seller he provided a link to, caveat emptor. I hope you have better luck than I did.

That sucks to hear that they weren't willing to help you out! Ive purchased 9-10 dials from this seller and have had good luck so far. But it can definitely be hit and miss using Ali. Appreciate the word of warning though!

Stupid question, if on ali they only show the sterile dial will it still be shipped with the seiko branding? They mention something about it having a s logo so im assuming that they would?

Yes, you can remove links from the bracelet and there is micro adjustment within the clasp🙂

Could be the bezel rotate direction. As its normally one way. But on a yacht master is bidirectionail (so both ways to rotate to). Maybe they mean that!? I got The case in this video and linked in the description, and its only 1 way rotating. But that's fine for me but isn't like the real yachtmaster model.

Maybe it still too long? the second is: watching your video the movement made a click inside the case. mine instead rotated freely. I had to use a very precarious plastic ring (arrived with the case) to put between the diameter of the movement and the case walls, but I didn't see you do it. Is It normal?​@@jbwatchmods

@@amedeofazzio4792 No problem :) 1 - It definitely sounds like the stem is still a little too long. 2 - It depends on the case your using, some cases will require the use of a spacer and some do not (regardless of the style of case) But yes, it is normal to use a spacer
