You could leave some of those trees to grow your vines on, like grapes they come back every spring, and your peas and beans, there’s also flower vines that you can use as teas their good for you but look up the best ones so you don’t waste your money. Thanks for the video

Hey, just found your channel. Love it! A 60 year resident of Michigan. Love to see a 'Bama guy and his family building life. Beautiful family there buddy. As a lifelong Michigan guy with a lot of UP experience, just a few things to remember. You may already know, so forgive me. 1). Watch the chickens, goats and pets. Lots of coyote and an expanding wolf population in UP. They will raid you bro. Maybe you have night time shelters already? 2). Watch for deer ticks in late spring, summer, early fall. Kids in shorts etc. The ticks can cause Lyme disease. Nasty life long damage. 3). This past winter was very "mild" by UP standards. About 1/2 normal snowfall and an early spring. 4). There are some very good blueberry picking areas in the UP for winter time eating. 5). Knock off a deer or two. As a Alabama guy, I am sure you know all about venison. Good eating. You're 'off grid' if you get my drift. License 'optional'😅. Keep up the good work. We subscribed👍
