How do you manage exporting your tracks in audio and having them at the right volume?

There is different way, the best practice is to make sure all fader are at 0, you can compensate each track with an utility, for exemple if you fader is a -6. 8,bring it to 0 but put utility with a -6. 8 gain on it. Then you can freeze and flatten,or re-record by resanpling each track individually, Re export each track individually etc... I am gonna lie you will always have to readjust, re-export etc.. Because some track are louder than other even peaking at the same level... You also have you clip gain on your live session, you can adjust gain for each clip but I would use this as very last solution better to have everything mix and cohesive with all fader at 0 and all clip gain at 0...but it will always depend your liveset, the way you perform, organise your stuff etc...

really interesting setup! I have bought recently a Dfam and sync with ableton with CV tools Sync out like you have done too...the only thing is that when the Dfam audio is returning back into Ableton audio track with Fx I experienced some delays....can I ask how you managed this issue? in the preferences what kind of buffer amount do you keep for live performances?

first make sure when you it's on step 8 on the dfam before to lucnh the play on ableton. if you use effect in ableton that add delay you can use ableton delay compensation on the dfam track. it's called track delay it appear under each track in session view and to make it appear you have a little button on the bottom right corner (where there are the other button such as mixer, send ,return etc..)

How do you not get any latency from the external drums, microfreak and dfam when they are being processed live In ableton?

idk, probably it's a bit of latency but not something really noticeable

Man how are you doing that wash out effect, is it just the ableton one or did you make the device? Im trying it and it sounds like its doing a feedback loop. Are you sending your kick to it as well?
