Building a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Marquee Lightbox | Old Trenchy

Less a "how to" and more a "how I fumbled my way through it" I decided to make another lightbox to display my original TMNT Arcade marquee. This is the artwork that adorned the top of our cabinets here in Australia back in the early 1990's.
Although I used to build poker tables for fun, I'm not a pro at this, I just like to make stuff with what little tools I have.

knowing u manually put most of ur labor to build this is amazing! seeing you screw one of those screws with a phillips screw driver and not a drill after tediously cutting into those boards brought back nightmares of my art class in college. this is so cool and seeing many of these videos it's quite obvious u put in the most work to build urs. i want to make one but i'm not sure i can. ninja turtles are awesome!

Great video! I'm preparing to make something very similar. Are you able to post an image of the template you used for this and the MK box? Or maybe just the measurements? Either way, great job

It's been a while so I don't know where my template is however the dimensions would depend on the marquee you're building around.

I bought this from a private seller on eBay who had a heap of old Aussie arcade marquees from the 80s and 90s.
