Building a Turbo Mazda Miata in 10 Minutes!

This video is 7 years of progress on my turbocharged 1993 Miata, condensed into 10 minutes. This covers ALL the projects I did on the car, from suspension to a full custom interior, roll bar, and fully custom turbo kit. Enjoy!

I bought this high mileage, neglected Miata in 2015 from a tow yard. It needed body work, rust repair, and a lot of attention to get it back on the road. From there, I refreshed the suspension, installed coilovers, and gave it new wheels and tires. I installed a roll bar and custom interior, with race seats and racing harnesses. Later, in 2020, I turbocharged it with my own custom turbo kit, and made a few more changes. In 2021, it got rear ended, and I rebuilt it for the 2022 season. This car is a blast!

Awesome work man, you were the first channel I found in June 2020 when I bought my first mx5 in the UK. Your common problems vid was the first few things I did. Now 2 years on I've done all my own major work aside rust repair and paint! Can't wait to either turbo or SC!

@@CashedOutCars Currently looking at buying the Racing Beat sway bar as they’re on sale on Goodwin , I’m confused on if I should bother buying the rear. I have the same coils as you do. Also did you get aftermarket end links or just replace the oem ones?

Hey I am on a path of preparing my NBFL to be a beastly daily/AutoX machine. Have you refurbished suspension linkages, poliurethane and overall structure besides just dropping coilovers in? I think I might have to re-do the entire car's suspension along with wheelhubs.

I did bushings all around, it’s a real pain to do. Do note that depending on what class you plan to run, suspension bushings might bump you up, at least here in the US

Can't believe the Mazda Mark 1 was so cheap. Could of spent a bit more got a cleaner example back in 2015 nowadays in 2022 Mark 1 over 6 grand in the UK I just spent 4 grand and got Mark 2 instead

Approximately 180-200 WHP, it runs on 14PSI but is a 1.6L with a relatively conservative tune since I track it. It still has stock internals. It’s a blast!

You can get a lot done in 10 minutes! As you can see, it ONLY took about 20 seconds to do the full rust repair on this car😂The total time spent on this car over 7 years is insane, I'd love to know what it is
