Does solid works generate the g-code for your CNC? -and- Did you design your board from scratch or loft it from another design? I'm looking at making a DIY hobby CNC here at my home shop and making a few of these for fly fishing with some fam.

Hi i have a plug in for solidworks called hsm works to generate the gcode. I designed the board from scratch using splines in solidworks. These projects are a lot of fun, enjoy!
