@@Quikstepp yes even a 7 700x would be good but it's not much of a deal since you can pair an i514600k with a 4080 super and it's still going to be fine, your not losing any major performance.

To be honest, I think it was a great choice, yes intel did wrong but it's starting to feel like content creator's are kicking the dead dog now. The last thing any of us want is to go back to the days of one cpu manufacturer

i actually build my first pc off one of your vids, picking the parts and what not and it runs great, one thing i am confused about tho is why my gpu works fine but the gigabyte logo doesn't light up and the lights are on where the power cables plug in, i dont know what to do and no research can help with my answer

​@drewjohnson6651 deep clean your pc then go on youtube to look at a video or videos on how to make your pc go faster they are usually only a few minutes long. It is only a few steps and I just did it a few days ago pretty much you are deleting junk and it definitely speeds up your pc. Uninstall apps you are not using, clear up space on your ssd, uninstall games you might not be playing, make sure everything is up to date and that is all I can think of off the top of my head.

ngl I feel like the 4070 ti super could give some better results if paired with a more powerfule CPU like a 7700x but it's not much of a deal if you already playing at 200+ fps [I only say that because you can see that the gpu utulasation was not 100% but the cpu one was high, at the end this is the best option if you want to go with intel because of the drama going on]

I have put together this build on the pcpartpicker and got this warning Some Intel Z790 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions is this the actual case or no?

I will list several options for each item then you can tell me which ones you want so I can see how much it costs. My pc is my profile picture which you can use for reference my pc is my first all white high end build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gig ddr5 g skill cl30 latency 6,000 mhz ram ( I went with 4 sticks because I like the complete look on the motherboard but it is not good for the full speed of the ram but everything works fine for me )/ nzxt b650e motherboard/ corsair 150 elite 360 aio/ the fans are the phanteks d30 normal and reverse/ gen 5 crucial t705 - 4 tb and gen 4 - samsung 990 pro 4 tb ssd's/ 2023 1,000 watt corsair rm1000e gold rated/ phanteks screen/ phanteks vertical mount for the gpu/ lian li v2 strimmer cables 12 + 4 pin and 24 pin/ asiahorse white threaded cables. I think that is it lol oh and the phanteks nv7 case. Ok now to start your parts list. I will send a few comments so you don't get overloaded and so I can organize everything.

White tuf cards looks weird. I think the only color they go with it the original brushed metal. But the 30xx series asus rog strix white cards were the best ones for me so far.

I believe the i7-14700K would've been a better choice for this particular build, as it's the only CPU that's actually got more cores than last gen (20 cores, 28 threads. vs. 16 cores, 24 threads.), and better performance. It would've helped with games like Starfield and Cyberpunk as those FPS averages were kinda low considering the GPU choice. I think we're safe from anything else from Intel. We already know 14th-generation CPUs don't have the "degradation" issues as Intel addressed them internally before their production, and the recent microcode seemed to work (knock on wood) lol. I luckily never suffered anything with this recent debacle, but I noticed my performance in gaming and workflow has gone up with the update. Now whether that's the microcode from Intel or something within ASUS's BIOS that is better but either way I'll take the extra FPS lol. ** Also wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your video. This was my first from your channel as I just stumbled upon it and liked the content! You added great context with your choices and provided the right information for the viewers, you didn't get opinionated and stayed unbiased with your thoughts. Kudos to you man, hope your channel blows up and you get everything you've hoped and dreamed for. Oh and the video editing too, was top notch man, some sick transitions in your b-roll. the 7700xt is a 1440p card. if you're just doing some light 1080p gaming the 6800 will be more than enough. if you're really looking to future proof I would just go with the 7700xt if that's within you're budget, it is based on newer architecture and has lots of vram. it's also just the best out of the 3 of course

That's a good combo. Youu should be able to squeeze in a 7700xt at 1k, though, if you're not too picky with cases or part brands.

My exact build 😂 yes I love it the combo, then again I did come from a rx 560 so it’s a big jump, but yes great combo runs anything I throw at it at high or ultra settings with well over 100 fps, I went with the combo then spent lots on a case and fans to make it look cooler just my preference

thats the exact same cpu and gpu i have but i got a 2tb m.2 and 32 gb also but id get 1tb for just the three and i suggest just getting random games to check out if you have enough storage but mine runs great

Finally a build without amd trash. Oh and fyi since your in amds pocket, amd has driver issues to that cant be fixed but intel is fixable. The fix is very easy where u just have to lock the performance cores out in the bios. Will not overvolt the 5 and 6 cores anymore and good to go

I’ve been running amd for my last two CPUs. I ran Intel before that. Both companies are great but right now price to performance is AMD all the way. It only makes sense to build most builds with AMD parts right now. I shouldn’t have to go into the bios to fix anything. I shouldn’t have to worry about my cpu cooking itself.
