Come join me on this start to finish build of a huge outdoor Reptile enclosure. Watch how I built my 5' X 5' X 8' setup with a heated hide box and a 20 gallon pond. I built this for my Sailfin Dragons and Chinese Water Dragons to use but a setup like this would be great for a variety of arboreal snakes and lizards.
thanks for watching!

WOW. That was AMAZING! Gret build I love the ideas you have and will use some of them for my future builds! PS - I had the same problem with cutting the mesh screen, If you use "Aviation Snips" or "Tin Snips" my gosh it makes a HUGE difference. They also have Neumatic Aviation snips but i just use the hand ones and its not so bad!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I tried tin snips with poor results. I'll look into the aviation snips. Thanks for the tip.

@@madmakerreptile8294 yeh maybe tin is different than Aviation but in telling u AVIATION is like cutting thru paper lol I cut 18 gauge with em no problem

Nice build, enjoying to watch all the way to the end! Iam going to build something similar but with more floor space for my (soon to be here) group of Sand Lizards. Nice shout out to Kamp Kenan, love his videos too! Greetings from Germany! :)

Great job! I may ask a stupid question, but what is the purpose of the plywood sides at the bottom?
@madmakerreptile8294
@madmakerreptile8294 2 жыл бұрын
Not a stupid question. Thanks for asking it. The plywood skirt around the bottom does several things. It me from hitting the wire mesh with a lawn mower or weed wacker, it creates a visual barrier when the animals are on the ground preventing them from thinking they can just walk out onto the grass and it gives them a greater sense of security when on the ground or in the pond.

@@mcwendel8066 Lol! That's so funny that you asked that question! As we speak, the female has been digging like crazy in their indoor enclosure (still too cold to put them outside yet). Like all day long and I've been wondering if I should have done more in the outdoor enclosure. I will probably dig up the stones and get some wire mesh under them before I put them out. Thanks for the comment!
