Keep going your doing really well 👏. A bit of a tip. Don't pull the engine up by tightening the mounting bolts up using the gun. The mounts are alloy and it's easy to pull the threads out. Just make sure the engine pulled up flush on the mounts using the hoist. 😊

Dont worry about the chaint and getting the timing right, they've made it very hard to do it wrong as long as you follow the steps and check your work, watch humble mechanic for his r32 chain install, its not the fsi engine but near enough the same

Scirocco is a 2 door station wagon /estate, and it’s a V6- see engine top.. VR6 configuration is only in the 2.8/9

Hey hamza , keep it manual . I have a guy that can program the standard ecu to work. I know your prob thinking that if you turbo it the dsg will hold more but let's me honest auto is not cool. 😂 I've got a manual r36 swapped caddy , no lights on the dash and cruise control works , its possible and as far as i know only a few swap exist that are manual.

You can get a scirocco/ Mk5 golf DSG shifter that will fit better. That one will sit up to high.
