Good job QDC. You are so right about the tedium and difficulty of assembly and placement of the track! I was so excited when I saw this offering by Bronco of a Canadian tank. The tracks detracted significantly from the enjoyment of building this model. I assembled the tracks concurrently from recovering from a double tooth extraction and dental surgery. The residual pain from the dental surgery relatively speaking was a pleasant distraction from building and placing these tracks.

It's such a throwback watching QDC, I'm 19 now as of typing this and since I was around say 11-14 I've loved watching your videos, and your videos for the most part have motivated me to build model kits, tanks in particular, I've built 21armor pieces 8 of them are very modern 2 are from the 1960's-1990's, 2 jets and 1 helicopter all within a 2 year timeline a lot from Tamiya but some from other big brands such as MiniArt, Hobby Boss, Rye, Meng, Trumpeter, etc. It's a fun hobby and I'm glad you influenced me. Never change, your such a wholesome soul to the model community. Wish you the best QDC.

Canadas contribution during WWII is very well known and recognized here in the UK, Canada being a part of the Commonwealth et.c.! Canada had ground troops, Navy and air crew, fighting in all theaters of operation, as far as I know... and considering Liz II is the Queen of Canada as well, it was very fitting to include her in the video also! Within walking distance from my house there is a memorial dedicated to a Canadian Lancaster crew who died on their way to do an emergency landing at Boxted Air Field.. the Lancaster had been attacked by a Luftwaffe intruder, I believe and it was burning badly and crashed just seconds away from landing. A new housing estate next to the memorial have the streets named after the crew and the approach to the estate is called 'Lancaster Approach'. Great looking tank, having followed the build on facebook I am pleased to finally see the completed tank in a video, following the process again, such as it were.. :) So well done, very well done indeed! Keep well, stay safe.. wash you hands!! Right..? ;)

MrD53 Dear Mr QDC On many occasions I've intended to comment on your fantastic work but I've always been thwarted by technical problems which usally means me being unable to cope with the technology. That aside I seem to have mastered the dark arts today so please let me say that you are indeed an expert in every sense. What really endears me is that you know modelling is always going to be a balance between art and artifice. One is never going to get a true depiction nor will a complete flight of fancy be acceptable. You seem to totally get that and you back your position with meticulous and may I say thoughtful research. I thoughrly enjoy both your builds and art work but I especially enjoy your insights. Please keep them coming I'm returning to the hobby after a long absence and I find your work an absolute treasure thank you for putting so much back into a hobby you obviously love MrD53

A new addition to Lockdown fever, building Bronco Models tracks. The glazed expression on your face said it all. Remind me NEVER to build anything like that! Great job! As a Brit I have to say we too were shamefully unaware of the contribution made in both World Wars by servicemen from nations such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada to name but three of many. Just wasn't taught in school when I was a kid. Taking a look at the history of the ANZAC forces at Gallipoli, the Canadians in RAF Bomber Command and the US services in France in 1918 when their contribution was crucial to eventual victory has been a real eye opener.

Good video!! Was thinking about purchasing this kit, may just do so now. THANKS!!! for showing the construction of those track shoes, other modeling sites usually skim over that part or will show them already completed. Have that same track shoe kit separately to add to an M3 Lee tank but, whenever try to convince myself to start building them, quickly lose interest. Been in military for 20 years and built the REAL DEAL numerous times, do not need to build every single piece of a track shoe in 1/35 scale - besides it's a STATIC model kit!! Yes - looks more realistic, blah, blah, blah, but who wants to spend days/weeks on those things??!?! The look on your face when describing those track shoes was PRICELESS!! Well, if YOU can build them, then so can I.
