I have a mono b devotion list on arena and I'd say a big strength of it is being able to win out of nowhere with bloodletter of aclazotz and rush of dread, or if you're spicy, peer into the abyss with underworld dreams/sheo

Everybody's forgotten that mono blue devotion won the first Theros pro tour and was considered the best deck in that standard format until people figured out black devotion.
