They are. Says on the card. The weird part is that there is no Wastes subtype so it only says Basic Land. Not Basic Land - Wastes

I don't think most people here played modern tron eldrazi or bpod meta back in like 2014. Bird was absolutely busted. If I still played modern, I'd bet it keeps tron alive. Urza tron, if you don't know. A meta that existed alongside siege rhino and was somehow more omnipresent.

Honestly, there has been so much BANGER art for basics it is actually insane. Forests range from tranquil and serene to thick and choking to borderline creepy. Swamps are both putrid and decaying and beautiful under the moonlight. Plains are vast and majestic and and ominous under the light of dusk. Islands are serene tropical paradises, devouring whirlpools and gravity bending waterfalls and waterways. Mountains are fiery and jagged and distant and cold. Basics art slaps.

Bolt always needs reprinting as the premier spot removal and burn spell. It's completely balanced and just too good not to reprint. When it finally gets power crept is the day mtg dies officially.

I could see green 1mv dorks that tap for each color (like we already have with Avacyn's Pilgrim), but i don't think we'd even see (Ig)Noble Hierarch in Standard at this point, much less BoP

"Can Standard handle Lighning Bolt?" could be an interesting question, but when you try to base your argument on the fact that Boltwave - a sorcery version that can *only* go face - isn't an issue, you make it very difficult for me to try and take you seriously...

@@nitramreniar bro what? Yeah boltwave isn't a issue and neither has the other worse bolts...so why would bolt be a issue I love bolt as a removal spell because 1. It makes 4 toughness matter 2. It's not exile removal and that's been too common lately 3. It's flexible and iconic so having it in pioneer and standard would be soooo nice

@@Ifureadthisurgey What I'm saying is that drawing any kind of power level comparison from Boltwave to Lightning Bolt to try and argue that it wouldn't be a problem is SO far away from a reasonable comparison, that making it comes close to a disqualifying statement for serious discussion on the topic. (AGAIN: NOT the idea of Lighning Bolt in Standard is disqualifying - arguing that point by comparing it to Boltwave is) It's like arguing that Thoughtseize should be fine in Standard, because we know that Duress is. There is some chance, that it could be fine (less so with Thoughtseize, but you get the gist) but the comparison doesn't say anything about that, because as a comparison it's so wildly off.

So you need to sac it once before the angel enchantment is on field? Or if it is still hust a human cleric when it dies for the first time does only one trigger occur? They would stack when the creature hits the graveyard but you would be able to choose which it comes back as second trigger would fizzle? Not exactly sure how that works the first time about, but zone changes would wipe away the types every time it dies, yeah?

If the enchantment is on the board when Infernal Vessel dies, both triggers would go on the stack at the same time, you'd choose which one triggers, and the other will fizzle because the target (the Vessel) left the battlefield because of the previous trigger. It comes back as either a demon or angel (depending on which you chose), and then the cycle repeats a little cleaner.

I love this, it reminds me of how in legacy a similar thing happens with basics. So little are ran that bloodmoon just does its thing. I clap my hands to you all for bringing land destruction prison into view.
