Ye the only upside to brick walls is the slightly thicker wall depth; it also has nicer windows, for using curtains or other wall features :)

Do you happen to know any way to stack Foundations? I believe I found a way when I played on console (the method I used is definitely not limited to console but it's not very flexible) I have since moved to pc and have yet to try it again, but you may have a better method than I do

Rug glitch with blueprints allows you to delete the carpet afterwards. Place chair. Place carpet near chair, not touching. Make blueprint starting with carpet, then chair. Now go to blue prints. Place your new item. Remove carpet. BOOM.

Wow, Very cool thank you for that tip. I knew about using blueprints to place objects in your camp where they would normally not go but I did not know about the variation using the rug.

thank you, i know of a glitch where you can place a attached conduit any where. 1. place conduit on a rug 2.attach conduit to something 3.slowly move rug away from what ever it's attached to(this activates glitch) 4. move rug where ever you want (i only just now found this glitch so if you find any way to improve it tell me)

The interior walls works with barn walls too so you can save a lot of cement ;)

Another thing that’s not really a “building” tips that new players don’t know or realize, is to use their Contractor and Happy Camper Perk Cards if they build a lot. You will use less materials and won’t have to stop building to eat or drink as often.

You can place shelves on an active pressure plate and each time you pick up and drop the shelf, the stacked items will move down by the height of the pressure plate. Much easier and more consistent than using dirt mounds

As you likely know by now, you can also use the pressure plate to merge items; use the camp widget to do the opposite/float items.

Final Render, I'm on Xbox so I dont know if it's different on other platforms, but the Double Interior walls work for all walls, not just the brick.

Same on ps4 just doesnt work with the basic wood walls. I actually do a doorway and then halfwalls on the other side so i can have like a stone lower and wood or tile upper wall

Wow, thanks so much for this! I’ve been trying to fit more and more into the train car so I always have a 1-stop camp to throw up anywhere with all my basic stuff, so this is perfect! Hmm... Can I stack a fireplace using the rug trick maybe? Would I end up sitting down hovering in the air? I’ll have to try! But either way, this already gives me great ideas for condensing (mini-stash box on shelves and all. Plus decorative lamps and plushies because why not? LOL.

I did this with the round fireplace ^^ the one you can sit at. I used the hill glitch with them ontop of each other. Looks really nice!

Sun Day if you have the pyramid shaped roofs you can put mesh floors down first it looks better than a plain roof

Final Render i have a cool idea for you to do. You can only use 1 of everything that you know in your camp menu. If there are more than one variant you can use one of every variant.

blueprints. you blueprint two, then place it, then delete one, then place the blueprint again and you can get them close together. then you can delete the second (third?) gourd and repeat

A good tip for walls. Place your floors then line the areas where your walls are going with punji sticks. It stops alot of critters from getting through your walls easily.

Been building in fo4 since the game was released... I learned whole lot from watching videos (in particular the skooled zone) and have only been pretty "trained" in the rug glitch to move stuff xD The double wall and the stairs in particular are really cool to know !!! So thanks for explaining it !!!!! The shelf stacking is cool and I will probably try it out once I find a dirt mound near my camp hahahaha... much better than the display shelves I use now!!

I'd like to point out that the brick wall double sided wallpaper glitch, doesn't have to be done using bricks , you can add any wall after the brick is placed , then swap the 1st brick door frame for anything else.. metal sheet / barn ect.

Once you have it how you want it, blue print it and then you can build it without the rug. IE once you have the chair under the table, blueprint the table with the chair, delet it all and then set the table with the chair back down without the rug👍

Love your videos they are very helpful! Last night while trying to build random things for the weekly SCORE challenge I placed a foundation by itself and was going to just throw some stairs on all four sides and delete them. Well the stairs snapped into the ground instead of on top and now I can’t delete any of them as it says part of the structure will be unreachable or whatever the error is. Tried to re snap them above ground, delete and move but all has failed. Spent days building my camp and don’t want to start over. Any suggestions?
