Dan I want to thank you and Lou and your family for the great support that you sent to NC I have been in a shelter for about three weeks now and tomorrow the 30 fema is putting me in a hotel for 34 days and I am hopeful that I will get a place to live my son went to Burnsville to help the day after the flood and he saw a family of five washed up on a bridge and bodies in trees and it’s been rough on him but again thank you so very much for the prayers and support that you all are giving us it’s so greatly appreciated and we are grateful for everything that has been given to us

Hey Dan, I can see that your dad would love to be in there helping you. I’m close in age to him and I can honestly say it is so hard to not be able to physically do things that I used to do. You do a lot for your dad and he appreciates it but I know he would love to be able to do things on his own. I hope he gets the knee surgery so he can be more mobile again. It takes about 4wks recovery and physical therapy speeds that up but in long run it would help him so much be more independent again.

Jacob did have his own auger he is just not good at taking care of tools, yard tools. With it being outside or being on the ground the flood could have ruined it as well, he's only had a house not a barn or a shed. I absolutely do love how you guys help each other out all the time it's wonderful.
