Greetings from Panama. Your delivery costs are 3 times what I pay. And yes. They tried to give me Gringo pricing too. Until I got a good relationship with one of the Cochez supply market managers. He opened a business account for me at his store. Now I get good discounts and delivery fee is just $15. In the beginning, I got really pissed off. So I bought a used 2010 Silverado 2500hd for just $4,800. It had only 88,000km / 53,000 miles

$10 a day welding all day??? You are ripping them off
@everythingnicaragua94182 жыл бұрын
That’s a big word Henery. I have given a brick layer steady employment and taught them a skill that can increase theirs income for the rest of their life if they choose to leverage it. One guy was getting $7.25 a day as a labourer and then I taught him to weld and gave him $10 a day then he saved his money to buy his own welder and grinder along with some other tools and he is able to earn $25 a day now. Granted it is a diamond in the rough that understands the concept of investing to increase one’s worth of service, but none the less I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes. Please try not to make accusations that I am “ripping people off” in the comments on my page. I truly love everyone that I get the privilege of working with and always try to empower them whenever possible. I hope you have a wonderful day :)

@treasurethetime2463 Жыл бұрын
There is a danger to the alternative. Say he decides to be daddy big bucks and pays 10 am hour, hypothetically. He distorts the market. How would a local be able to afford labor in a market like that? Unintended consequences must be considered.

$10 a day is a good days wage in Nica. Our house keeper/cook lives with us 2 weeks on and 1 week off for $250 a month and it’s $100 more than anyone else was willing to pay.

That’s so funny you mention it 😂 I came to Nicaragua 3 1/2 years ago and I brought 2 little lav mics with me. Since then I have bought 2 different shotgun mics and three different alternative Bluetooth lav mics, also have two large diaphragm condenser mice’s in the studio. The hard part is Nicaragua 😂 wind, monkeys, bugs, thunder, rain, drive by advert trucks, random parades, motos, truck breaks, clubs, outside street djs… then which one to bring with which connectors iPads or iPhones not hooking up to the wrong Bluetooth and getting the levels right… and doing the show 😂 I think we have a pretty good system now. We bring a hip bag with a small iPad with usbc to usbc to our rode go2 lav mics and a backup (cheap usbc Bluetooth lav set) then we have the iPhone with the lighting to female 1/8” headphone with a TR 1/8” male to TRS 1/8” that goes into the rode go2 lav mics. We then have a rapid usbc charger that charges everything from one plug. Out battery packup packs all got fried and we quit using the gimble because it took to long to set up. That’s what we use after shooting video in Nicaragua for three years straight with no breaks. Progress not perfection. 😎
