Looks amazing! Our driveway keeps getting skinnier from the snow piling up on the sides. I have been plowing the mile long driveway since the snow started flying. It's been nice that the neighbors have been blowing the snow from their driveway to the road. They stopped by today and said if you need us to clear your driveway to your cabin with our snow blower we will and thank you for all your plowing. What a blessing for good neighbors. My beautiful lady got inspired when she saw your flooring. I think that is in our near future. You two have really inspired me to create new videos. I waited until she got home from work to watch your videos together. Love watching you two.

Great video as always. One comment about laminate/snap together floor, probably all floors the wheels on desk chair will eventually ruin the surface. Nice thing about snap together flooring is if you stash some left overs you can replace the worn area. In my office I was able disassemble the floor at one end take the floor from under the bookcases and swapped it for the 3x3' area the desk chair ruined. Moral of the story get a chair pad. Can't wait for your next video. Cheers Phil

Hi Guys, great job on the flooring and the build. You may want to consider leaving an air inlet into the room as you will have draft from the wood stove. If you have no air supply, it won't draw and therefore won't heat your room. Not to mention CO2 from unvented combustion. Be safe and take good care of that tracked jeep, I am jealous!

Something this channel highlights that I have learned from content creators is that 2 heads are definitely better than one because in this "industry" if you dont know how to do something or hate doing something chances are the other person might enjoy it or be good at it. If there is something one of you is afraid youll be bad at the other tends to be really good at it which is awesome. Yall make a great team.

TRIM TIP: Miter joints never seem to come out right and when they do they don't stay that way. I bought a rosette cutter and make my own corner blocks for doors and windows. Now I only make butt joints. It saves a bit on wasted trim but the savings of time/effort/frustration/whatever, is worth it all. It also looks great!

The floors look Great !!! I like the idea of laying it out for patronization prior to installing as well (Great idea, even if it takes longer). I was happy to see you still had the flooring after leaving it, down the hill.... those Deer Critters were looking a little sketchy !!! Desk looks good as well also that foam can ne a real pain, they (yeah "they") make a gasket that can be put on after the receptacle/switch is installed and is held in by the device cover. I looked em up real quick and "Frost King" makes em.. they are kinda Styrofoam-eee/ish. One thing with the foam is if you ever have to rework the wires, that stuff is a pain to get back out. I am late to the game (here) I looked but did not see a video addressing the wiring in the receptacles... when I see a "white" outer jacket, that usually means the wire itself is 14 AWG (American wire gauge) But, sometimes it is actually 12 AWG... I mention this because if, it is 14, it should not be put on a circuit breaker larger than 15 amps, even if you'd run 12 to a junction box and then run 14 from the junction box... then, that circuit has just been de-rated. 12 AWG is rated for no more than a 20 amp breaker but, it can be used with the lower 15 amp breaker (just not greater than 20). So generally speaking 12 AWG (as long as the run from the breaker box to the end is all 12 AWG) goes on 20 amp breakers... 14 AWG goes on 15 amp breakers... and any combination of 12/14 goes on a 15 amp breaker (because of circuit de-rating). You guys might already know this, if you don't I mean for it to be informative not critical (electrical work is Me job) If you've made it this far (reading) then I'll throw you another tidbit I learned living in Northern Maine (without know how your building is set up as a whole)... if you have a chance, put a large wood stove underneath (at least the bedroom/s) the living space. That way your comfort zone is from the floor to the ceiling and not from the waist up. when you get up in the morning you'll be putting your feet on a warm floor instead of a cold/cooler one. This is just my preference for (big/bigger) wood stoves.. I prefer ones that draw their combustion air (easy pipe work required, small stove pipe) from "outside". I came to like these very much because they pull air in for combustion from outside through metal pipe then, push warm/hot air outwards. Wood stoves that draw "room" air in for combustion will... pull cold air through any crack it can (from outside the room) for combustion... in a worse case scenario, if your standing in front of the stove you could feel a cool draft passing by you. I would say based on the area your in, you could find someone that "makes" wood stove out of boiler plate steel at a relatively low cost to meet your requirements. someone in that area might also make log splitters (far better than store bought) when you can pick one up (either store bought or not) in the long run, it will save your shoulders. Okay, I've rambled on enough, you guys are doing Great - keep us posted :) :)
