@@wisnusaputro88 Below is what worked for me 1. Clamshell Mode when connected to 4k monitor. A maximum of one only. Being in a relatively cool room (Air Conditioned) helps 2. No issues 2k monitors, even if multiple of those have been connected

@Josh Ohea how did you get your icons/text to scale to normal size when running 4K? Whenever I try it on my LG monitor everything shrinks

Now I realize you got a Disply Port to USB-C cable to get 60hz at 4k, that answers my question.

I would recommend putting your computer on a stand in clamp shell mode so it is more slick

Hey Josh! Really Nice video😀 I have a question 🙋 You didn’t use a usb-c to usb-c cable, but an HDMI to usb-c cable. Can your MacBook charge if you use that cable? I want to buy an LG monitor, but I only want to use 1 cable that can charge the Mac all time. Because a 4K LG monitor with a usb-c plug in is more expensive than the monitor without. - Oskar

Thanks! Mine does not charge. I have to plug in my charger alongside the USB C to DisplayPort cable. There is an LG monitor that only requires one USB C and charges it, but yes it’s a bit more expensive

Pls advise. Can i connect a magic keyboard, magic mouse and bluetooth speaker with macbook - connect it to Dell USB C monitor via usb c - flap down the macbook or rest it on a dock. Will all 3 devices work? Basically, i want to use apple keyboards and mice only - do not like the USB wireless keyboards. Also connect a bluetooth speaker bar as Dell monitor doesn't have speakers. Thanks.

Yep it’ll work! I connect my keyboard, mouse, and UE Wonderboom all the time in clamshell mode. Works great!

The color is great. There’s a few different presets and you can also do a custom color setting. I still need to figure it out a little more to make it match perfectly

No, not with this model. I plug in power chord and display port chord in order to use it in clamshell mode
