Hey everyone 👋 I’m back, it’s been well over a year now 😭 but I am hoping to start posting on here again - consistently. Sorry that this video isn’t the best, it’s been a busy week since me and my family are preparing for a two week holiday in Florida 😆 I posted this video on this channel and my main channel which I started a couple months ago ‪@CharliesElement‬ so be sure to go and sub to that channel too! Especially if you want to see what my family and I get up to in Florida! Thank you! Xx 🫶

I actually really like the "old business computer" as the starter. You start with a completely working system so you A: know everything is working. B: know everything works together. and C: can upgrade any thing with the knowledge that as an absolutely worse case you can get back to a working system. The one thing I would hope is you picked the cooler and ram heat sinks with an eye toward what you're going to upgrade next, since the CPU/motherboard is definitely the next thing to get an upgrade.

Subhanallah, we don't need a big generation jump when we do not have any use of. Totally love it. Guys are saying,, bottleneck but,, it's okay.. It will make the gpu underclock and basically will last longer and what the highest you will even use. Most of us use our system for productivity.
@apotato5563
@apotato5563 16 күн бұрын
It doesn't really matter what you do with your gpu considering you'll usually upgrade before it is broken anyways. The bigest failure rate on gpu's is the cheap fan's and no matter what you do with them they are going to wear about as fast. And a big part of gpu's breaking is the heat cycles where just simply using it and turning it off will cause wear. And also at that point you may as well get a cheaper gpu like a GTX 1060/1660 because a pc with a cpu from 4th will almost never be able to run RTX because RTX also needs the CPU to calculate some of the parts. Also even when doing productivity a newer cpu like a i3-12100/pentium G6600 would make more sense due to quick sync encoding. And she pointed out that this pc is for gaming so there is going to be a bottleneck.
@FarhanAhmad-ll6no
@FarhanAhmad-ll6no 16 күн бұрын
@@apotato5563 ofcourse she is going to face bottle necks and yeah, for productivity.. Simply upgrading to higher genration would make sense as I've also did it. LIke not a big jump but from 3rd gen to 6th gen. And it was awesome. So, totally agree.. but sometimes, let people do what they are doing.

Great looking build for your first attempt 👍 I started the same way, re-casing Optiplexes. The vertical mount GPU shows you have the creativity to adapt and overcome problems, you'll do well as a PC builder. The joy of building PC's is that we're not all musicians, or painters. Building PCs is a way of creating art that just about anyone can do. That's why I still do it in my spare time and sell them at basically my own cost, I just love seeing what I can create. Best of luck to your channels 👍

Pretty well done for your first build. Good Job. I might suggest that if possible, to purchase another fan for your AIO then place the AIO in the front of your case seeing as there isn't room on the top for both fans. Heat rises so intake on the front and outtake on the rear and top. This should keep it nice and cool.

And then look for two fan video cards that are fall below the maximum length, theres also some thick single fan video cards which run fine too such as the 3060 single fan by asus

Very nice upgrades. The only thing I would've done differently is to NOT use an AIO. I know they don't all fail but your taking a risk by using one. One small water leak going unnoticed & it could take out other expensive system components. They make a wide variety of much more affordable tower air coolers that provide sufficient cooling for i7's. Sometimes in certain situations air coolers even cool much better than AIO's.

I haven't read through all the comments, but this is the comment that makes the most sense out of the ones that I have read (while working with the existing setup). AIO up the front, and the RGB goodness can still be enjoyed with the radiator enjoying both fans as it should.

Vertical gpu mount was a great work around! I've used similar OEM motherboards that have ports interfere with longer GPUs so that was good solution. Also, does the AIO fit in the front? It seems people are already unecessary unhelpful and rude in this comment sections so i let it be said: There might have been better options or whatever but it's not our money and it appears to me that you are happy with it and you spend time with your dad on this and that is what matters. Also, i think the shot at the end all setup looks sick, good job!

Instead of all that RGB crap, all those RGB fans and all other unnecessary crap, i would rather invest in newer CPU platform. You can get like 9th gen i5 CPU and mobo for dirt cheap, and it would literally destroy everything that this ancient i7 3770 has to offer... Even 10th gen i3 CPU would destroy that i7 3770 in every aplication.

@@MrSamadolfo yk instead of investing into argb and an aio for a i7 3rd gen she could of gotten a better cpu to push out more performance with less bottleneck? This seems like the avg fb marketplace build to earn quick $$$ via rgb

@@wooksithey put something together with parts that were all gifted to them, its fine, tho instead of the aio i think a simple 4 or 5 pipe argb air tower cooler would be fine and easier to put together 🙂
