Using my seafrogs/gh5 for video only for now. I may end up getting strobes later. Beautiful photos!!! We cut a 2 pound dive weight in half. Then attached them to the bottom of the arms. When I have my two dive lights on the arms, it’s a bit too heavy. Will eventually get some adhesive tire weights to balance it more.

Hey! I’ve enjoyed your series of 4 videos on the GH5. I’m looking to move from the GoPro to the GH5 and think this is the right camera. Has the Seafrogs housing been reliable and would you buy it again or would you upgrade to something else. Also, can you list the arm components you bought? Thanks for the content!

I still use it frequently and it's holding up really well!!

Nice video series. What's your experience with the Seafrog housing? Do you still use it?
@DiveSAGA6 ай бұрын
I still do, as recently as last week. But I do need to mention I'm on my second one (luckily they're cheap so easy to switch out) and I am looking to upgrade everything!

@@DiveSAGA OK, thanks. I'm also looking for an upgrade of my equipment. ( Sony RX 100 III with a Sony plastic housing and two z330) I think if you do it right it becomes really expensive.

Currently I own a G85 and an 8mm F1,8 fisheye lens, and possibly consider upgrading to a GH5.I love to hike, freedive and make photos. I did a bit of research into possible UW housing setups:G85 (€0,-)+ iklite200 DLM/B + 5516.81 domeport: €1745,- GH5 (€1000,-) + Meikon + domeport: €1620,- (and I get to sell my G85 too)GH5 (€1000,-) + iklite200 DL + domeport 5516.81 € 3150,- I think I'm careful with delicate stuff, so I think I'm ok with fiddling around a bit. How are you setting up your camera for underwater photo and video shooting? How do you focus and compose your shots?

The only option is autofocus and you can't zoon either but I don't find that to be too much of a problem

Have you tried the 7-14mm f4 lens with this housing? Seems like 12-35mm is too narrow for underwater without a wide wet lens.

I find that the 12-35 works fine but you can certainly do wider. They also sell an 8" dome.

Hi, very interesting topic, I'm using since many years, a Sony Nex 5 camera in a Aquatica housing but I also own a A6000 Sony camera wich should be better in term of fast focusing. Therefore i'm looking for a new Seafrog housing to fit that camera. I'll follow your results. Thank you very much for your job! Stefano
