Hallo Jasminka Finaly its not so difficult to stay with Mingyur Rinpoche. Shure, to got to Nepal or follow him all over the world is realy difficult. But Tergar exists in very many counties. So there are the teachings of Joy of living quite near. There are Groups, and Rinpoche travels a lot. So to be in contact with his beautiful teachings and mind is not so difficult. And practicing his teachingd is... not easy, but it makes realy feal coming home!

What an amazing human being... Thank you very much, Mr Rinpoche. I'm christian, but I highly respect your religion, and I enjoy your smart talks, since there are little people around me with whom I can speak about some complex, smart things, like this. Greetings from Serbia. Best wishes, Mr Rinpoche.

Phase Nonapp please donot confuse it with faith (blind faith), teachings of Buddha and other yogis are not about having blind faith in something.... What the Buddha teaches is about the truth of how the nature works....they see how things or reality is for real...because our mind in the beginning is full of impurities and delusions due to the conditioning of our mind...it just like when u hit someone without realising that the other person is getting hurt u r in the state of ignorance & then soon when u realise it that it did really hurt him soon u feel compassionate and guilty..... When u raise your consciousness and begin to realise things, soon u ll find that we ourself bring suffering to ourselves.. "Beliving in God "and "seeing what really is" are therefore two different things... I hope the answer helps :-) By the way u don't have to be a Buddhist to understand and follow the teachings of (Buddha) . He was not a God just a human who saw like other yogis how nature really works and what is it that brings us suffering.

Very nice and beautifully explained, thank you very much as someone said... There is a misconception that Buddhism is a religion, and that you worship Buddha. Buddhism is a practise, like yoga. You can be a Christian and practise Buddhism. I met a Catholic priest who live in a Buddhist monastery in France. He told me that Buddhism makes him a better Christian. I love That. - Thich Nhat Hanh

Thankyou, my bhuddist teachers used to tease the lay people. Asking "who is doing, Who is saying, this that the other. Encouraged effort to do regular morning and evening meditation. Could be short, 15 minutes in ones daily life. Then take the energy and apply it to every moment of your life. Using it as life meditation. Questioning, recognition of lasy, over active, or negative habits. Advice if all else fails, to try to use small step approach, by replacing a negative habit, with a positive habit. That way you're not concentrating on l can't do this or that. But rather building positive themes, by small regular steps. Cultivating positive qualities, allows the negative themes to fall away naturally. Other wise if you chase them forcefully, with big stick, you may inadvertently create, a situation, where they merely hide, to resurface at a later date. Thankyou for reminding me of their past wisdom. Meta to all beings. Aum Shanti.

I listened to Rinpoches guided mediation again and again and I try mediating without guide and slowly slowly I can guide myself a little by little . Ultimate solution should be to guide urself . Best of luck 💕

"Nothing is either good or bad but thinking makes it so", and the observation that fears and fears of bad habits like arguing should be invited in during meditation because arguing with someone, including yourself, is positive when you understand why, ..against is negative, but is a misinterpretation of what is positive. (You can't not think of pink "elephants in the room" by attempting to unthink) Human relationships are the sum of interactive positive habits, we support each other with constructive supporting arguments, if we can integrate the argument successfully into our own self... Meditation is a kind of mind science, balancing the holistic equation/resonance of the universal self.

Namo Buddhay.. I love his videos. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

Great advice. I read an interesting book called Habit that scientifically broke down habits into three events. Trigger, habit, and reward. By applying mindfulness into the habit I was able to curb my bad habit of too much coffee. I would be mindful of the coffee trigger (sitting for too long at my desk or just needing a quick break from work) and then instead of getting up and pouring myself coffee I would pour instead a hot cup of water or tea. The reward (standing and a warm beverage) was close enough to the real thing that I was able to break that habit without much effort.
