@mywildholm5 ай бұрын
Yes, we later realized that chicken of the woods is more orangey in color. Chicken of the woods gets brittle and discolored when it ages, and I thought this might have been the case here, but I was wrong. Melodi was right though! @rougefox92335 ай бұрын
Hello! That mushroom looks like a Shelf Fungi aka POLYPORE commonly called a CONK, a type of bracket fungus, some species are edible, some are medicinal & some are used in Chinese medicine. Sorry, it doesn't look like a Chicken Of The Woods at all.. too bad because I hear those are tasty! You can remove tree pitch or sap out of hair by massaging about a tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil into the sap, after 10-15 minutes wash your hair, it should do the trick! It also works if you get it on your skin. Depending on how deep it went, if that nail that got Ryan's hand was rusty, he may need a tetanus shot, unless he's had one in the last 5 years..🥴 I stepped on a rusty nail once & had to get a tetanus shot, not fun! Great job on the work you did on today's episode, nice to be able to repurpose the wood from the old cabins & you could use like old barn wood on projects too! What a beautiful hōlm you've got, thanks for sharing! 🥰
