Listen to the cues!! Don't just watch and try to mimic. The cues Phil emphasizes are what make this one and all his videos so valuable

Phil introducing his two hop lateral to all his fighters I see, plyometrics are so versatile you can really play around with the movements a bit for an extra challenge

Do you do sets of each exercise or as exactly in the video

Hey Daru just started following your content and love your philosophy and methods on building explosive power and endurance. My question is how close would you do this sort of training before fight week? Im not too familiar with programming for peak performance on fight week and would love your insight and feedback on methods I can I adopt myself. Thanks for your time

Sure thing I have plenty of videos on programming on my channel you can search for but this is right arounf 3-4 weeks out where we would be introducing more contrast sets and power endurance.

Phil I really need your advice, I went from 204 pounds to 266 pounds, right now I'm at 238 pounds. Would you recommend losing the rest of the weight before moving to strength training or just using the weight I have now to bring my strength up for smooth sailing at lower weight - I'm boxing. What I had in mind: Core strength > Cardio > Plyometrics. OR Cardio > Core strength > Plyometrics. Thanks!

Depends on your actual definition of strength training. What I would do is focus on being in caloric deficit getting your conditioning where it needs to be while still hitting some medium intensity zones in the 6-8 rep range

nice one, do you have a warm up for Muay Thai, but for a 65 year old, thanks in advance, I do use a lot of what you show

I do have a ton of videos on warmup routines that cross over well to any sport and at any age range. Keep at it brother that’s great to see 👊🏼

this is a full session training?
@PhilDaruStrong Жыл бұрын
Obviously not the entire training but clips of some of the main sets and work to get an idea of the session
