JD and i spent some time in the woods building a primitive shelter from deadfall tree limbs and whatever else we could find just for fun. Should he go camping in it?

Me 3. Mine was there but we was ALWAYS arguing bout something. I often wondered why we never got along. 4yrs after my mom died from cancer, He DISOWNED me and my family. I hve 2 boys and I tought my youngest tht money didn't grow on trees and tht he would hve to work for what he wanted like I did. We DID help him get started like my mom did with me. Now he's got a pretty good job, 2 basic college course diplomas, his own truck at the age of 19. I think we done OK.

Yea it would have been good my dad was around.but when he got off work he would go to the bars in Athens GA with his whores getting drunk then coming home wonting to beat up on me and my mom . But he made a man out of me and when I got big enough he didn't come home wonting to beat up on no. One any more.

JD, you're way further along than I at your age. Hope the door faces the east and a little south. Storms most always come from north/west. Also. I hope the wind doesn't flex the trees enough to drop those first wall supports. Great seeing a Dad and Son doing things making memories Dalton.

What a lucky kid, got woods to mess around in and cars to play with. Reminds me of spending weekends with my old man when i was a kid in 80s and 90s, getting to do all the stuff my mom wouldnt let me do at her place. The little dude will probably be president someday, being the only member of his generation that can function without a phone in his hand 24/7.
@roadsidegarage692 ай бұрын
hey maybe don't have that negative of an attitude towards the people of his generation, i know plenty of them who don't even have phones and all they do is work on stuff or farm all day
@FORCE_PBC2 ай бұрын
@@roadsidegarage69I think the optics depend on where you are from. Kids around here are useless. Couldn’t pry those phones out of their hands with cash. Let alone “let’s build something”. Thank god we never had phones as kids. Or at least I didn’t. What an alien thing that would have been.
