WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!! I'm soOOoo proud of you; Tova, Matthias and Kevin...you are young and accomplish many things from a great work ethic. You are self-disciplined and well organized. Little Ivar, looks beautiful...he is very healthy, strong and bright...above all he is very well taken care of, with such Love. You will master all your projects in cooking to perfection Tova...it is just a little more practice. You had my mouth watering over all the good food you make. My deceased husband worked with concrete for years before he died...he would also have been proud of your efforts with the cold storage room. The concrete looked well mixed = Good Job! Things will come together...just continue with your lives lived so well. You are very rich, in MANY ways. How your family , Matthias, must have been overwhelmed by little Ivar...they will think often of him. And another blessing was getting the hay cut and stored...I'm happy for you. Ivar looks like he may be teething. My kids (now 30's and 40's) loved that giraffe toy! Favorite teething soother! Chill it to help even more. Glad to see giraffe is still around.Nice to have family help.

There is a big fuss in the US about mold growing inside the giraffe teether. It’s recommended to get a new one with each new baby.

That dinner reminded me of my childhood with my granny in Ireland. I would go to visit her in her rural farm and she would always cook me spuds with thick creamy butter on top. Looks so organic and such a beautiful color.

I wondered the same thing about wheels at one end. I have seen some mobile chicken coops that are designed this way. Ivar is growing so quickly! He is a handsome fellow for sure. Finally I hear you planning on building a sauna. I grew up and lived in Sweden till I was 11 years old from the 60's to early 70's while my parents moved around and I have very fond memories. Lived a shorter period in Stockholm but all the other years in Uppsala. Our family sauna tradition made a very huge impact on my family life and always followed us. Have been living now for the past 35 years in Florida with my Austrian highschool sweetheart, and yes we built a wood fired sauna here too that we immensely enjoy. Now our kids with grandkids have built their saunas too. Mathias, since your family background is from Finland I was surprised that you did not build the sauna sooner, because over there it used to be built first even before building a house or cabin. Spent beautiful times in that country too on an Island on vacation as a young boy. You 3 have a beautiful channel and we wish you all the best and may God bless you.

Get some well deserved rest! Your videos are so beautifully done, I can wait two days longer knowing you are busy! So strange to see you in warm clothes while we are sweating here in Pennsylvania - I need to find a spot that is something between the cool where you are and the steamy warm here, and then you talk building a sauna !! We got free sauna for the past 3 weeks now :) Not complaining as long as my laundry dries on the line! I recall having hung out cloth diapers (I had the thin kind from Germany, not the thick american ones) and they literally got moldy hanging outside; it has not been this bad in many years. Blessings on all you projects, looks wonderful!!!

Super cool to have tour new fresh report 1. Very good looking masonry block work...nice lines! 2. Great you managed to escape the farm & ensueing projects..i bet those hrs- days were absolutely delightful! Did you manage to capture some good sleep? My own daughter, Daphne is imbedded within a challenging long term period..3 months of highly challenges with her-our, granddaughters..one fully active healthy 4yr Peneope+ their new baby Josephine just 10 months..for sleep has been consistently a rare commodity..with huge blocks of lost rest...indispersed with warm days & a small living space..approximately 15'foot×18'...though in a wilderness setting about 6 miles from the coast & shoreline main road. Every transition they negotiate..be it meal prep, nap.. nursing (of course breast) shopping trips to town, the farmers market, seeing friends, the garden work projects (they are fun & so gratifying!) outdoor play, bath time...on & on, require thinking ahead, timing every move in a timely manner! Right now is tough for us emotionally, for we must (or elect to) observe a variety of 'safe- distancing practices (covid 19). I send my love; big hugs to you the dogs, cats & wilderness ! 🌲canyon haverfield🕊

About the pig shelter. To keep it light you could put a brick under each corner so the boards don't get soggy and moldy. And maybe stain or clear acrylic seal those top boards you move it with, so you don't have to touch black mold when moving it. :) Thanks for sharing.
