Very cool decals. Seat belts, too? Fascinating. My current stash (about 300-400 kits) is all W.W.-II AFVs, so I don't really need any more kits to work on. Even so, it was fascinating to see how much detail you can add to an aircraft with well made decals. Thanks for sharing.

I seem to remember back in the ‘80s that there were some kits released that were just cockpits. They were large, probably 1/16 or maybe 1/8(is that possible), and extremely detailed. As I recall, there was an F-15, F-16, maybe an F-4, and I think something from WWII. That was just around the time that I was winding down my modeling hobby and started adulting more full time. Sigh. I stumbled across some of these videos just a couple days ago and I believe that if I’m actually able to retire, I’m going to have a serious look into starting this up again.

I cannot say how much l love these. I am working on one of Tamiya's P 38 and the instrument panel alone justifies using them. The only issue l had was with the seat harnesses...l snapped each trying to get them to conform. As far as a sealer, l'd do it by brush especially if the instrument panel is attached. As it may take away from the glass appearance on the dials. Also, no need for any setting solutions.

Eh I disagree - I think that any product with the potential to increase accessibility to this level of detail across a range of skill levels is a good thing. Making one piece of the process a little easier for some doesn't inherently negatively impact somebody who is interested in doing it the "hard" way. I think this hobby is at its best when it's available & enjoyable to everyone 😁

@@SpruesNBrews I never said it was a BAD thing, just that it makes the work of the rivet counters and scratch builders less spectacular. I remember when I was a kid, model kits were for kids. Now they’re for adults and you can easily spend several hundred dollars on one model kit. Increasing detail while not increasing the skill level needed only works if the add-on is available for the kits you have. P.S. I do think these are pretty neat, myself.

I don't think it's right to ostracize a member of our scale modeling community simply because of where they were born - boycotting a small scale modeling business wont hurt the powers that be over there, but it will certainly cripple a small business owner. The war cannot be blamed on innocent civilian; our defense must be aimed at large corporations & those who profit off of Putin's crimes.

@@SpruesNBrews honestly I think that is the only chance. Unless the people of Russia will feel the pressure, Putin will still have their support. Money from those businesses are flowing back to the regime anyway through taxes and other 'payments'. This is the least we can do for Ukraine.
