That's absolutely true that we focus way too more on our failures and keep forgetting those achievements we did reach. Gonna say having an achievement list is a brilliant idea, will make it for sure. Finally somebody who hits the spot! Lots of English learners groups on social networks I’ve joined and KZbin channels I’ve subscribed to, and this is the first time I get such a wise message. To be a more confident PERSON is the first step to become a more confident ENGLISH SPEAKER. Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, they’re all fine, but I guess the sparkle many of us English learners need should come from the inside, and it has nothing to do with English (or any other language...). For introverse and shy people, like me, might be quite challenging...but guess what? It sounds like something we can work out 💪 Thanks Emma for such a tip (a bunch of tips, actually), remarkable and yet a bit undervalued, IMHO 😉👍

Thanks Emma! I'm been struggling to build self-confidence since I realized I was loosing too many opportunities to meet people, to learn something new, to get a job, etc. In short, to do things that make me happy! I still have some aspects of this confidence to achieve, since it's a process and I have to work with intelligent patience, but I'm improving.

Excellent advice teacher Emma! I work using achievement indicators, but some time all teachers forget our owns achievements as teachers! I'm writing, how i'm learning with my students, how new vocabulary i know now, because only no why i'm a teacher; i know all about English, little students have their own knowledge for redact a paragraph about differents situation at the class. Really .....i everyday watch your videos and write your words that you speak to develop my listening skills and writing skills.
