If anyone's having issues with the floors, a good tip on getting them into place is lining one up against the building, building out from that, and deleting all but one of the floors, so you can change its elevation. Also, great idea for a build on Harry's part!

I’ve only ever played on Survival mode, so I’ve pretty much am always in a rush. My settlements reflect this. I’m getting better, but I’ve got a long way to go, to look as good as your garage. Maybe I should play on a difficulty where there’s no hunger, thirst, sleep, and I can fast travel overencumbered. Then I could really take my time with construction.

They make your first settlement a bombed out cul-da-sac Where every roof has holes it in and yet they give you no chance to repair any of these obviously damaged and barely habitable structures. When a radioactive storm comes I got into the cellar under one of the houses and sleep it off. All of these good, perfectly usable structures and we can't use any of them. You know what I want to do? I want to rebuild Concord. Look at all of those buildings most of which are still in tact and imagine having the ability to open up the blocked off buildings and making them usable again (like the Castle and removing the rubble). Huge missed opportunity.

It would be realy cool if there was an mod where settlers are not as clumsy as now, I mean maybe a mod that makes them do more active. Like if you build a bar, nobody goes they always stand on a random place in the center of the settlement.

this probably won't work for the whole settlement but I'm began using busses and junk fence to build a wall around starlight I ran out of steel after the 3rd bus so I literally scrapped that idea and instead turned one bus into a bar any ways I'm just giving ideas you don't have to use them

+Will Yabsley Any big settlement could work, if you use foundations for the arena floor. Also, for Dillon's issue, messing around with the switch next to the workbench fixed the settlement for me, if you haven't tried that.

that's the thing though, spectacle island and other large open places are too boring. i'd like a place that is actually interesting for combatants to fight in, actually moving through buildings when attacking and taking cover. Jamaica plain would have been my first choice but it's my main settlement.
