Absolutely fabulous! Of course, in Australia we had Peter Brock with his Holden powered, A30/35. Remember him punting it around various tracks in the 60's. He ultimately onsold it. Unfortunately the new owner could not get anywhere near Brockies times. Virtually undriveable except in Brock's hands. Not sure of the relevance of my waffle, except to say that is the only A30/35 that I can recall racing in Australia.

I remember the HRDC Academy A35’s. The official kit didn’t have the😅 front anti roll bar so they flipped really easy.

Bought my first 1955 A30 in 1977 for a fiver 😂🤣. Still got 2, A35s at the moment 👍

I use to own an A35, years ago. Changed the 950cc engine for 1000cc from a marina, it went from 54mph to 82mph. How fast do the race spec cars reach?

That actually happened to me while driving an Austin metro overtaking a lorry in the fast lane. It was my own fault for not closing it properly. I kept cool and looked through gap in the bottom and pulled over to the hard shoulder and closed it properly. Phew! 😎

How the fuck ,does a bonnet fly open with two leather retaining straps ???.

Not a single leather strap on the car which is why the bonnet doesn't flap like most do, it was held tightly shut with allegedly lockable QR pins that failed.
