Hi. What a great video, as I am an old novice, could you tell me what is wrong with some of the bricks that you pick up and look at and then throw them away. As they look ok to a novice me. You do an excellent job and do great videos.

Great vid Changy... Did u put a double damp course on door entrance...? Do u think wire mesh should be used more instead of ties .. (I know cost is a factor ) ..

@@user-rv7ig6yg8k Building sites are grim, stressful, hard repetitive work especially on price.Earned decent money bricklaying but after 20 years that was enough, not sure if it was worth it.Fair play to all doing it though because it's effing tough!

what sort of equipment to brickwork subbies have to provide apart from trowels, plumb bob, lines and levels, bandstands? spotboards? cutters? hods? cracking job lads, funny seeing the design requiring gauged brickwork - must be a very tight site? btw those stacked reveals are looking well tidy.

I like to do my stack bond up a doorway by leaving them off. Once built main brickwork to height i reset a profile on the already built corner by projecting 10mm (or what ever project is) then set a profile up the doorway again projecting 10mm and run in line to line it flies up
