I didn't see a pressure switch on the small well. If you leave a well running without a pressure switch, it will eventually burn up. I think the rule of thumb for filling pools from one of the pool installers I work around (Pool Drs. of Charlotte), is 45 mins on, 15 mins off. Or... just install a pressure switch. $15.00 part at the Depot. Love you guys. Keep up the good work! Hopefully I'll see you in April!

Amen to never turning on a well pump with no flow. Running 100% flow non stop is way less harmful then full stop
@D00MSAYER1014 жыл бұрын
A pressure switch on that wells setup will do more harm than good, a pressure switch is used for pressure control in conjunction with a pressure tank. Without the pressure tank the pump will cycle on and off anytime water is used, unless you are flowing enough water to keep the pressure lower than the cut off point. With how it's set up now it'll be better to run non stop as long as its moving water, you never want to dead head (ie stopping the flow of water) the pump.

That is such a weird concept to me. I'm used to working with old equipment and havin some weird satellite location detection system on a damn dozer blade feels so over the top fancy. Are there things like that on modern excavators too? Can they dig a trench perfectly level automagically?

@chrisanyone17094 жыл бұрын
mike conrad R10 gps reciever and base our pretty good, I use them as a land surveyor, I also use a TSC7 data collector. As far as an excavator being able to upload data utilizing a gps reciever such as an R10 and building perfectly level is far fetched. Gps equipment even top of the line R10 recievers are only accurate to a tenth of a foot for elevations which is fine for dirt work but perfectly level or on a perfect grade that was designed on TIN in civil 3D is not possible there will always be differences between the model and whats actually built. Usually when excavating trenches they use a linkin rod that is hooked up to a laser level that will tell them they are at the correct cut or fill depth. Land leveling is where the gps shines. Again a tenth of a foot is negligable when grading dirt. But if your dealing with supers and asphalt work you wan’t finish grade stakes that were calculated using conventional equipment such as a total station.

Well done young man and crew. It appears you're attempting to cover as many of your bases as you can. It also looks like you're doing things right the first time. Saving as much money as you can while also making sure what you're doing today doesn't have to be completely redone in a few short years due to cost cutting. For a first time track owner what you're doing is truly amazing to watch talk about a dream come true. The Freedom Factory is going to be home to so much high quality content in the future, (quite honestly it already is), and I can see your attention to detail is going to pay off big time... The fact that on top of the tremendous amount of work that this massive project is you're still attempting to bring us quality content. As the transformation continues this lofty goal on your part speaks volumes to the quality of character and work ethic you have young man. As well as your dedication to your fans and making sure they get to come along for the ride. Truly Epic and I for one have nothing but respect for you and your entire crew...

I could go on and on about Cleetus but I won't!!! I'm even enjoying this "down time" footage showing how much work they're doing to the Freedom Factory! I've been a Car Guy since the late 60's... you should postpone the asphalt because you will never be able to compact the pavement next to the forms without blowing them out, If you put in the concrete first it will work 1000 times better.

@fiat384 жыл бұрын
With concrete being more dense it can blow out forms just as easy. On another note it's as simple as rescheduling the asphalt because the asphalt may not be available right away depending on the asphalt companies wait times/scheduling. If the forms do blow out while the asphalt is being compacted it is easier to saw cut the asphalt than to contain a concrete blowout.
